This was a snippet from an HLN compilation video...notice the totally different glasses?

(It's a screen capture, not a live video).

I cannot find by going through the trial videos which day it was from. Looked for any in which she wears the green blouse and has her hair parted on her right, along with JW's suit color and Juan on the floor.

(Sorry if this has been discussed!)

If JM gets to play the murderer's interviews after her murder 1 conviction, when asked what she would do differently, she never said, I would not kill him! And he should hammer that over and over and over to these jurors. She has no remorse, no guilt, no second thoughts. She uses any body and every body.

Was Chase JA's bank? Cause if I kept using my card again and again at the same place, it could trigger an alert. Chase (my bank) is hypersensitive to that kind of stuff. Now, if that wasn't the card JA was using...and if she didn't have a Chase account...I am definitely curious!!

I recall that her accounts were with Washington Mutual. Washington Mutual was bought out, but I not sure who bought them. It might have been Chase.

Jurors do not take intelligence or aptitude tests. They simply have to have a driver's license now. You don't even have to sign up to vote.

Everyone goes in there with their own mind, their own experiences. Even with that, some cannot separate facts logically. Some do not even think logically. Logic is not a given, it is earned. Anyone can be a juror. We cannot blame for their inability to process, or inability to separate logical facts from their own issues. It is the way this system works. You can draw a jury that is good for you if you are facing jail, or what that is not. It is the luck of the draw.

It is like going to a bar and expecting to meet your next mate. You may meet a completely crazy killer, or you may meet someone you actually share something intellectually mutual with that you will know for years, or you may meet a dud that is a one night stand and you never see each other again. You never know.

The questions asked of them are not deep enough for today. How many times do I have to point out that old standards are not working, like the new found lengthy trials never return DP. There is no way to know, even for the seasoned DP attorneys for both sides. Words have shifted meaning, lives are not on the same standard, most see it a burden to be a juror not a privilege or duty. There is more, but I will stop.

this reminded me of an old joke:

do you really want your fate decided by 12 people too stupid to get out of jury duty?

just a joke, people. not saying i agree with it.

down here, it USED to be voter registration rolls is where they got jurors. but tragically, with so few people who even bother to register to vote, it had to be expanded by making it anyone with a DL. that changed the pool of prospective jurors immensely!

Ringing False._____Some advisors got CM's ear and warned her that her self-absorption did not come across well, garnered no sympathy for her. I believe that happened many moons back. Finally convinced (after protests) that the advice was correct, she decided to adopt the persona of an altruist. She has consistently pointed to herself that way at every opportunity, even creating opportunities to demonstrate how her only thought is helping others and giving. The humility of genuine givers was beyond her reach. Instead she draws attention to her humane charity, in fact making a big point of it. She is essentially wearing a sandwich board advertising it: Selfless Donor to Others. But we know that is not the focus of her attention! She referred to herself 82 times in her allocution statement to the jurors. Her "charity" is nothing but another means of saying, "Look at me. I mean ME. I MEAN ME!"

JA had a different bank. I can't remember what it was but I remember seeing the bank statement when questioning about the gas purchases was occurring. It wasn't Chase.

IMO, someone who has not been involved in prior crimes and is so Lilly white as 18 believes sure knew how to plan and execute a murder and then load herself up to kill again. I would have no idea how to hide a gun the way she did.

Me either. But I could Google it. And, that, my friends is why we never saw her laptop hard drive. Argh....if only Juan had access to that..she'd be on death row for sure.

I kind of feel badly for the foreman (ducks) and the others who voted for LWOP (ducks again). My opinion only is that it's easier to say that you are in favor of the death penalty and that you could vote for it than it is to sit through a grueling five month trial and then vote for it. The three jurors on GMA this morning also stated that when they first walked in to the courtroom, they couldn't believe Jodi was the defendant, that she had an "innocent look". I think the foreman thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to speak to the press (as he was probably getting deluged with inquiries and yes, it seems he has or had a wish to be high-profile) and let's face it, don't we all want to hear from all of them? I don't think he went to these interviews thinking he'd be receiving death threats from sharing his views.

I know this is a very minority opinion on here - please don't hurt me :)

On a lighter note - are we sure that Juror #7 (Paul Rudd) is married? He is cute!

As more comes out on the foreman it looks like he high Jacked the process and that disturbs me that one person could do that. :stormingmad:

Well, Mr. SuperJuror, to quote DebinGA, THEN WHY DID SHE CONTINUE TO LIE AND LIE AND LIE AND IS STILL LYING TO THIS DAY 5 YEARS LATER???

He didn't even see her lying as a problem so what was Juan to do with someone like that??

Oh yea, see of course the little purty thing would lie to people like LE and the prosecutor who are OUT TO GET HER. Poor poor girl. What's the girl supposed to do? Of course she would lie to HER ABUSER's family and friends. Of course...don'tchasee???

See, she wouldn't lie to him, no....see he's not OUT TO GET HER. He would come there to "listen" to her and they will do a yoga session and speak heart-to-heart. She will tell him all of her problems, all of her troubles, and maybe all of her fantasies....

aa, you're hilarious (although what you're saying is true)! :floorlaugh:

and..and...and..."he wants to go see her! visit her in jail..to find out - well what we all want to find out- what happened that day"!? and she will lie to him too.

the thought...makes me truly ill. Am I wrong? the thought of them becoming buddies makes me feel ill.

Thanks. I was wondering whether she was to be called as an expert or just as a lay rebuttal witness. I thought that maybe she was just a lay witness and that she was known to currently work as a fraud specialist at a bank based on google searches once her name was found out. If the former, I'd agree that it would probably have been significant. If the latter, she could just be someone with knowledge about the case who just happens to have that job.

Do you remember her name? I've seen all the rebuttal lists but the very last one. Is that the one she was on?

Yes last list. He had horn, the other psychologist, the chase lady, and I think there was someone else????

Anyone remember?

Also keep Travis' slaughter photos on the screens.

DH got the lawn done, and I planted flowers. Now we can relax and enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend. We decided that it's a good day to watch a lame movie, so we've rented Guilt Trip (Barbra Streisand).

I still feel guilty about not doing indoor cleaning projects that should have been done before I started outdoor chores, but there will be rainy days when I'll be forced to stay indoors and get things done. In the meantime, we can all blame Jodi Arias for all of the shoulda, coulda, wouldas that we meant to do during the months of trial :D

I don't know about anyone else, but I doubt that I will follow 6-8 more weeks of Arias bull@#$% and hope that something develops over the next week or so (family agrees to accept LWOP sentence by Judge, plea agreement, etc.) that preclude the need for another trial of the penalty phase. JA's a convicted killer and isn't be going anywhere but prison for the rest of her life. :moo:

Her accounts were with WAMU (Washington Mutual) which was later bought out by JP Morgan Chase.

Yes, Chase took over Washington Mutual.

I agree. I wonder if he is a narcissist? I think yes.

I can only speak for myself, first off, no one deserves death threats period! Secondly, I respect each juror's vote.

That said, I don't respect what 18 has said as far as as his opinions on the killer and JM. How does he know so much about the killer so soon?
I have doubts that he was confused and thought the judge would settle it, plus it was not her job to settle, it was his to deliberate and not to just take a vote!
If he does not have an agenda he did himself a grave disservice by speaking before the agreed upon timeframe and voicing his biased opinions that a shattered family will be haunted by!
8 people were against him and somehow it all got screwed up....I question that

All my opinion!

That photo is from Day 9 of the trial, she took the glasses off shortly after the trial started that day.
