This is far & above my fave smokey tune:
The Tears Of A Clown - YouTube

Am I having an acid flashback or does this song speed up during some segments???

But yes, this is a super super Smokey song - the best part about it is that he managed to insert Pagliacci in the middle of a Motown song...now that's genius!

How do you post a song? I'm clueless lol.
I love Tamla Motown!
But I want to post Karma Police by Radiohead.

I did not notice that... Sounds normal to me.

I totally completely agree that inserting obscure knowledge into songs is awesome...

Like I wouldn't know what "Scylla and Charybdis" means if it wasn't for Sting.

OK, it's a serious embarrassment, but I am none the wiser;)

Ah, yes. Spill the Wine. Wow, some serious chemicals involved in the creation of that piece!

I grew up in London in the 60's , and remember this well. Remember Whiter Shade of Pale? I think that might have included a little 'trip'!

Well, yes, extreme pallor was associated with the use of psychedlics, including LSD and psilocybin (magic mushrooms). I don't know how I know that

Oh, and I really liked "Spill the Wine". The flute is great.

This has got to be one of THE weirdest songs ever.

Yes it is but I love the funky, hypnotic music and Eric Burden's total Eric Burden-ness.
