O/T Funny little story.........my 10 year old came into the computer room where I am. I have Ashton's book sitting on my desk. She looked at the book, pointed at it with a look of disgust on her face and said "WHY did you buy THAT book?????" Poor dear, I had to explain and show her that it is NOT Jose's book but is Ashton's. She then became relieved and said "Oh, ok."

OH! I just remembered something I wanted to ask. I'm the first to admit to being Canadian, and a non-lawyer, but something else struck me as odd.

JB often refers to "this juror" or "a member of the jury" or "one of the jurors" stated, texted, asked me after the trial. Is it common for a defense attorney to have that much interaction with jurors after the trial??

You say "slam dunk case" - sounds like you think she's guilty.
You say "some one most here think murdered her daughter" in bold - sounds like you think she's innocent.

That is the kind of stuff that raises my blood pressure. Seems like, to me, that your goal is to bait. Just not sure why. IMO

Never heard that...and IIRC, from her previous story mind you...she was so upset that he ignored her at the service and wouldn't even talk to her from then on. Where did you see this?

LG, I realized that (but still don't see how it fits into his post since TorisMom was clearly not talking about him), ignored it and was addressing the second part of his post wherein he decries JA for not doing his job. Because apparently JA is supposed to never, ever put a foot wrong but everyone else can be as disgraceful as they please.

I do not remember that at all. I believe he was supposed come over after the memorial or soon afterwards and he was a no show. She did mention he did not acknowledge her at the memorial..if I remember right...

Casey did have a place to live and food in her belly. She could of gotten another job,but she didn't. She was taking and stealing every penny from Cindy and had moved on to her grand parents and friends. She couldn't go back to Hopespring without Caylee and she knew it. It was her decisions that gave her no place to live. Casey isn't getting any symphany from me. Casey said she didn't regret her decision, was the happiest she'd eve been and liked her new life with new friends. Casey did the end results justify the means? Casey is not the victim here.

I've always felt sorry for Amy. Casey lied and stole just about all she had. I hope she is doing well. I hope and pray everyone that befriend Casey is doing well.

As with many of us, we recog ize names of fellow WSers and some we get a heads up when they post name. You are one of those posters for me as you have only 179 posts since being a member since 2010 and I always really enjoy you sharing!

Yes miss plum, I saw that. My apologies. Just an adverse effect of my always being late to the party. But I must say it's confusing to someone like me when things are in quotes as I think JB or whoever wrote it or said it.

I bought and read JA's book when it first came out. Today, I donated it. I thought twice before I did it but I thought that by passing it on I could feel in a tiny way that I am helping to spread the truth of Caylee's story. If it were the "other" book (by JB), I would have thrown it away or burned it.

Yes, in US common. I was on three trials and every time they were lurking to ask questions. The judge says you can after trial is over..but if true with Baez..who knows?

In my cases, they were all lurking out by the elevators..I specifically noticed them after I sent a note to the judge which I did not realize at that time must have been read in open court....omg! The trial ended after the note I sent about a question on case law as I was taking a law class at the time in business school. They settled during case?

Had he been able to give the jury a picture of the highlighted area of the trunk that we have seen lately posted here KC would have NEVER gotten off. It's clearly a child's body and not Mr. and Mrs. Squirrel who died in her trunk from an overdose of acorn pizza as JB would like us to believe. jmo
