Perhaps it was mentioned upthread...

There were a number of things about JBs latest quip that occurred to me - I've mentioned one or two already. But what really sticks for me (and my nine cats ha!) is just how misogynistic it was - quite, ahem, bigoted and stereotypical. It tells me quite a bit about the shape of JBs brain.... For me, it seems he struggles with the classic "madonna/" conundrum. And despite his defense - he really doesn't like women - unless they hold a candle to illuminate his ego.

I completely agree, I had the same thoughts.
I was also offended, post-verdict, by a tweet from RH where he was dismissive of 'Mother Hens' who had followed this case. It stuck in my craw and I have not forgotten.
I hope FCA understands that the only type of approval she ever gets is a house built on the sand, and that respect can be hard won for older women who have passed their 'Use By' (and I mean that literally) date.

Miss Early to Bed here missed the fun last night! At least I woke up :floorlaugh: to that review and the nanny-nanny-boo-boo there!

I did my morning fly-by at novelrank and there are 5,663 books out there that are selling better than the door-stop, hamster-cage-lining, tp volume 'o lies.

I also thought of another use for hard-cover editions. Crumple up the pages and make cat toys! Since we each own 9, those 400 pages should keep the kitties busy! :woohoo:

BTW, IF Benbella shelled out any money up-front to the authors, I severly doubt they have earned enough royalties to warrant any additional moola.

The comments are getting more bizarre on that book site. Seems like we have a few supporters of KC really trying to badger the non supporters. The comments are ridiculous and a few sick.
Not sure but one seems to be replacing the don't cry french fry guy

I cracked up when I saw that - that's the rating with one sale two hours ago - I wish I'd been up to see what it was two hours ago. Clearly someone was so upset with the number they bought another one to bring it up.

One thing I will say for Baez and his book buying book reviewing crew - they are pretty transparent..amd respond well in kind of a kneejerky kind of a way.....:giggle:

Something very strange or should I say hinky is going on - the kindle sales and the book sales are showing as the same number of sales -on novelrank for the month to date - now what are the chances of that? I think we are seeing combined sales on novelrank - both kindles and hardcovers - even though it states hardcover...:waitasec:

His amazon.com sales are showing as sales rank#5779/22/41 which is for books only....let me check kindle sales again there.
Okay now his kindle sales are showing up as Rank #1977......

Hmmm - what IS that smell???
