Ashton had a lot more compassion for what Caylee went through than ANY of her family did, that's for sure. Why is he even showing up there?

GA: This man deserves the position that he just earned.
He's um a great guy.
I've I've known him outside the courtroom more then people know.
And I know he's a passionate individual.
And uh he's gonna do everything the right way.

Reporter Q: So where do you hope he goes from here? What do you hope that he does?

GA: What hope he uh just does the things he said on his campaign he wants to do.
He wants to be in the courtroom
He wants to direct.
He wants to be involved as much as he can with every single case.
And I think he will be.
You just can't sit behind a desk and direct people.
You have to be out there and direct them.
