Hi SallyLu, yes they are on top of it. In ohio if your license is expired that long, one has to take the driving test over. Dont know about Fla..:seeya:

Most if not ALL states require proof of residency for a license. The felon wouldn't meet the requirement anywhere except Florida.

I can state as FACT that FL reports to other states any unpaid monies that would affect a DL. Also just about anything that has to do with tickets,etc. The DMVs DO share info.

I just had to go to Jacksonville because of a ticket my husband got in Duvall Co (speeding). And as we spend a lot of time between FL and SC and my husband has a lead foot, I know all about not paying a fine.

I am strongly urging you guys to use the ignore feature. :banghead: That appears to be the only thing that is gonna save your beloved sidebar thread from going away permanently. If y'all choose not to use it and know you can't restrain yourselves from taking the bait, then all we are left to believe is that you enjoy the bickering. We're mod short with a ton of hot cases here now & we just don't have time for that carp anymore.

If you see it starting to brew, I would suggest coming back to these opening mod posts and bumping them all as a reminder BEFORE a mod gets here.

I'd like to know that someone looked into how that money was spent and whether FCA received a large chunk of it, as rumored. Like you, I feel the same.
Nobody will hold that family responsible for anything they have done. Do you think they are planning another way to make more money off of Caylee?

I know in 2010 my hubby was issued a non resident driver's license here in FL, after receiving a ticket for not having one. He has maintained MI residency & MI driver's license. We still maintain a residence in MI. He's never had an issue with the "non resident driver's license" and was pulled over 2 weeks ago for a brake light out. If she's not driving she don't need a license, I don't believe anyone disagrees with that.

You are Correct

Anyone, from any US State or Country, who has a valid DL from their home State or Country, who is pulled over and given a ticket for a driving infraction will have a Driver's License Record created in the DMV database of that State or Province.

A drivers license is not issued, just a driving record and DL number created in the database showing an Status of Unlicensed and the driving infraction in the body of the record
