Do we know where she is living now?

*snipped by me

Why would we care? Most of us would be MORE than happy if she just slunk off and hid under a rock for the rest of her existence.

I'm just glad to know she still feels unsafe, and has to slither around in secret.
She has no friends, so whoever she is staying with had better check her computer periodically to see what poisons and fool proof ways of murder she is tryng to come up with next, and of course keep their checkbooks well out of her way.
Any day now we will be hearing more from the evil Miss A. :yesss:

Florida does not issue non resident driver's licences. I believe they stopped that in 2009.

BBM If she is driving...... why would you assume, while she has been on probation, she has been driving. How would Florida know if she had, say an Ohio drivers license, unless they caught her driving with it?

As far as I know dmv's don't have reciprocity with other states as far as who does and does not have a drivers license.

BBM
Not sure about that...

There is a Florida Driver's Licence with the words TEMPORARY written on it...

It is not a Learners Permit but a Full drivers licence valid for only 1 year issued to Canadians (regardless if they are Florida residents on valid US Visas or Non-residents ie:Snowbirds who stay in Florida for no more than 6months )

This allows them to be able to register a vehicle in Florida and purchase vehicle insurance.

The Canadian Citizen also retains their Provincial Drivers Licence.

*snipped for clarity*

The day her probation ended, she could have gone to any state and gotten a driver's license there.

No, she couldn't have.

The State in which Casey Anthony became a felon has to reinstate her right to drive.

In any State.

Period.

Look it up, it's the Law.

Believe it or not, I was a volunteer searcher for TES looking for Caylee in the first week of SEptember, 2008, and the start of the second week of November, 2008.

Is there anyone still posting on Caylee's forum that had experience or volunteered with TES?

Well actually, Yes the States do have reciprocity.

IF she had a valid Ohio DL..She would have had to hand over a VALID Florida driver's licence to Ohio DMV in order to exchange it for a Ohio DL.
Ohio would then return the Florida DL back to FL and there would be a notation in the body of the driving record that the FL DL was return from out of state and from where.
If her Florida DL was expired she would not be able to exchange but would have to renew the Florida DL first

FYI some US State and some Canadian Provinces have reciprocity and can exchange a valid DL from one jurisdiction to the other.
The same rules above apply.

I do believe you are mistaken. For one, her right to drive was not revoked as a result of her felony conviction, it expired because she failed to renew it.

Second, I did some research and I can not find what you stated anywhere. Could you perhaps point me in the direction of a link?

TIA

I believe it was revoked because she owed the State of Florida money due to fines. I believe another state would require her to pay off those fines before issuing her a license. jmo

That has nothing to do with it.

It is because Casey Anthony is a convicted felon in and declared by the State of Florida that it is that State's decision when and if to reinstate her license.

Perhaps they'll wait for 31 years to do so, eh?

Other than due to her notoriety, how would another state's dmv know she owed Florida money? Besides, do we know she hasn't already paid Florida the money she owed them? It was, per the link you provided, $381 I doubt if anyone here is privy to her current financial status, or last tax reports.

<modsnip>, but did you know that all States across the country know whether you're a convicted felon, in what State and the offense?

The DMV be some pretty 'mart people dey is! :floorlaugh:

Tidbit of information
Within SOME of the Reciprocity agreements to exchange a drivers licences between jurisdictions (including with Canada and some US States)...is this little thing called Transferring of the Driving Record...your driving records may not transfer to your new jurisdiction quickly but if the agreement states that it will ...it will be sent... sooner or later.

I know in 2010 my hubby was issued a non resident driver's license here in FL, after receiving a ticket for not having one. He has maintained MI residency & MI driver's license. We still maintain a residence in MI. He's never had an issue with the "non resident driver's license" and was pulled over 2 weeks ago for a brake light out. If she's not driving she don't need a license, I don't believe anyone disagrees with that.

When you walk into DMV and tell them you want a new license they ask for your present license. If you don't have one they check with DMV in the State where you were previous licensed to see if that license was revoked. If KC has not gotten her license renewed in Florida and has paid her fine chances are she will have to be retested in whatever state she lands up in. DMV doesn't just take your word for it. You could have a suspended license due to DUI. So as long as she has paid her fine she can get her license back. jmo
