I guess Pakistan did not want FICA. A compound was awaiting for her.

I thought the credit she was behind was in English? That is a mandatory credit not an alternative credit. Mandatory credits are classes that must be completed in order to graduate. Maybe it is different with GED's though? I don't know? I just know that she cannot get a GED simply by taking a Spanish class. She's going to have to pass sections of the GED in order to graduate. Math, English, Social Studies, etc... She can't simply take one course in order to graduate.
My daughter had a child and works a low income job, that's why she's eligible. Now that she has the baby, her parent's income isn't considered. I believe you're right, Casey would need to get her GED first. Now that you mention it, I'm surprised that's not a condition of her probation.
I thought the credit was for pe. I don't remember where I saw that.
On another note, my copy of ja's book just left Ga yesterday. I will probably not get it until Monday. Tonight is the book signing. I'm not sure I can make it. It is about an hour and a half drive and I am positive I have bronchitis. I'll see how I feel later and decide then.
According to the Florida statutes, working towards a high school diploma is a requirement of probation for offenders that have not graduated. I keep waiting for something to come out about this in her monthly report.
Is it too early for a drink? I fear I need one already! Gonna be one of those days!

It was English. She had to attend summer classes the year before, I believe I read it somewhere back awhile ago and PE does not have summer classes for credit.
