Will it matter that it is a felon, convicted of numerous counts of theft and check fraud? I don't think it will be able to be named an officer, unless it uses a fake name.

Oh, FCA will definitely get her due, it may take some time as she is being protected it seems right now, but once she is "let loose", on her own, she will have to go back to her old ways since she isn't or hasn't made any changes. Her probation reports show she has no initiative.

I was kind of being tongue-in-cheek in a backwards kind of way :floorlaugh: about FCA being actually made an officer of the various foundations, but from what I have seen of the A's, they think what goes on in their family is nobody elses business, I honestly think if CA could take back the 911 call about the "dead body in the damn car," she would. And if they want to give $$$ from the foundation to FCA, they will. Creative Accounting Methods 101. IMO if FCA asked for $$$$ (and she may have already) , CA would be on board with this, I don't know about GA.

I saw one from last year and it didn't have any more than $2500 total. Unless they are getting big donations from a newly formed foundation (and I find it hard to believe they would - didn't even Dr. Phil say he was going to give to a reputable foundation - maybe in Caylee's honor - and not to something like this in which they can legally take 80% of the proceeds for administrative costs?

I followed the financials for the first few years and never saw much in the way of reported donations (not that they would necessarily be honest), and those were in the days before the trial. I find it hard to believe that the Anthonys are making any discernible profit these days but I could be wrong.

BTW - the website for the old foundation is no longer functioning.

Oh, I found the new one - called cayleesfund.org - it's registered to an address in Orlando (sounds like an office) NOT their Hopespring home address like the old one.

Wow. The "purpose" statement on that website sounds more like George and Cindy saying, had they had custody, Caylee would still be alive today.

Why shouldn't she be happy? She got away with murder, and other people are paying her bills. She makes me sick.

There are no restrictions on who can be an officer of a charitable foundation (aside from common sense and ethics issues, both of which Cindy Anthony does not possess). They could name Tinker and Tillie as officers if they wanted. Casey's conviction would not prevent her from serving.

Just one more reason to investigate any organization before donating.

OMG, seriously Casey? Are you that jealous of a man who used a hatchet on his sons before setting a fire and killing them and himself? Jeebus, how unbelievable. She can't stand ANY attention going off of her to someone else! I want to say more, but I need to sit on my hands right now...
