I would never associate the word 'happy' with someone who has lost a child.
The only people in my family who lost a daughter, age 13, to Leukemia, were never happy again.. they put on a brave face but the rest of their lives were never the same.

Good questions. I always view info like this as an attempt to be inciteful rather than informative. As in...there is no such video or otherwise public statement about its happiness and personal growth and the whole thing is made up because....well, just because.

There are no restrictions on who can be an officer of a charitable foundation (aside from common sense and ethics issues, both of which Cindy Anthony does not possess). They could name Tinker and Tillie as officers if they wanted. Casey's conviction would not prevent her from serving.

Just one more reason to investigate any organization before donating.

Correct, there are no legal restrictions. I was referring more to the probability of its name on the officer's list of a foundation that expects donations as being a less than positive move.

One guess is that RadarOnline did not want to pay for the video, so they just wrote about what they saw. I'm fine with that possibility - less money for KC. :rocker:

IDK who posted the article or blog or whatever about KC claiming personal growth and happiness. And that there was a video of her saying this supposedly. I thought it came from radaronline but admit that I didn't look at the blog, only took info from what was posted above about it. Anyway, a blog that claims there is a video of KC saying something but doesn't link to or show said video seems inciteful to me. Because I cannot think of any reason to not link to or show the video to back up the claim that such statements were made by KC.

Hmmm. I refuse to go read the blog so please correct me if I am out of line here...because I certainly do not intend to incite.

ETA: OK LG...I see where your question comes from. I was not putting momdetective down for her post, not at all!!! I was referring to radaronline blog as being inciteful because it didn't provide enough info to show that what they were saying was true.

Maybe I need to stop posting again for awhile, LOL. I seem to have problems clarifying again. :innocent:

TY for that info. Seems it is not a new video. I haven't watched it at any time but I recall it being reported somewhere that KC had red hair in one video done supposedly around October.

Not to say she can't have red hair now, though.

My comment was meant to be "teasing" you - this sounds like the three videos we've already seen all lumped together. The last video we saw with the nose pierce or whatever was when she had red hair. And she was really happy because she bought her computer and her camera and they were her very "own".....I just don't think this sounds new at all. Maybe radaronline has been on holidays and just got back and is catching up?:waitasec:

Oh I had a horrible thought, I fervently hope they have the decency to leave the poor Cox grandparents alone as they face their horrible loss.

I imagine they would. Initially, they stuck to bothering people who had missing children who were not murdered by a family member (even though the Haleigh case was inbred enough to qualify).

This tragedy is too much of an echo of their present circumstances to want to call attention to it one would think (not that the Anthonys are good at seeing the obvious).

Most people, when referring to "grandparents' rights" are simply talking about visitation or custody arrangements in a divorce. I don't know how they plan to spin this in their new foundation, since their granddaughter lived with them and was completely supported by them and mostly raised by them the entire time until their daughter removed her from their home and she was "accidentally dead" under her watch.

Maybe they are going to advocate that when children murder grandkids, grandparents have the "right" to be informed about it ahead of time (instead of wasting a month and having the grandparent call 911 because they just aren't in the loop).

Because if their mission statement is otherwise relevant to their experience, it would be to advocate custodial rights for grandparents when their child is negligent in a way that family law in most states does not recognize yet as dangerous to a child. Which would also be a tacit admission they do not believe their daughter was either fit as a parent or innocent of the charge for which the jury acquitted her.

I didn't see any of the content on that new site; it asked if I wanted to install a newer version of Flash and I decided I just didn't trust who was asking. If anyone else viewed it, I'd love your take.

It could be that it's just the rest of that same video that may be released.
