I would be interested to see a thorough compare and contrast of Casey Anthony to other infamous figures; Diane Downs, Lori Drew, Jerry Sandusky, Fred Phelps, South Hadley 6, Joran van der Sloot, Seung-Hui Cho, OJ Simpson, and Osama bin Laden. Something I have done lately here. There are some things that really jump out for all of them, they are highly grandiose and immature. Almost all of them had problems with parent(s).

I'd like to see a through handwriting analysis on her and all the people compared.

I was only talking about the bad cheque convictions - not sure about the money stolen from Cindy and her family - the way CA was acting she may have lied about them and said it was a loan.

But if she was talking about her being a good mother, doesn't legally having felong cheque convictions considered not an indication as to whether or not you are a good mother. I remember a case in the States where a father who murdered a mother was still given visitation rights because he was a good father....The problem with was she a good mother or not is that most of that was just heresay...i mean we know she wasn't but proving it was something else again...

But that wasn't the occastion LDB was flipping those cheques at the sidebar was it - that was for something else if I remember right...:waitasec:

I wish I could remember the whole scenario, I have difficulty searching for these things, but I DO remember Cindy was on the stand, but I can't remember what she was testifying about, JB was TRYING to bring something in or get her to say something, He kept asking the same question in a different manner, LDB objected a couple times, Objection Sustained, "Sidebar called" and JP saying as he had to frequently school JB "do you really want to go there", in the Sidebar LDB said to JB something along the lines of "JB, if you continue with this line of questioning, I have a whole stack of checks on my desk over there that I will bring in", JP further schooled JB to stop that line of questioning, then JB came back and had to ask a new question. But I wish I could remember what the questions were about, and I also don't know how we even know what was talked about in the Sidebar? There was a Sidebar or two where we got to see the transcripts?? But we definitely have that info about LDB saying if JB continued, she would bring the whole stack of checks in, and CA was on the stand.

Been incredibly overloaded at work today so haven't been around to listen to the thoughts on a WS self publishing. Not sure if Tricia woudl go for that so I suppose it would have to be done off-site. On site - I imagine it would be a legal nightmare for the shareholders of WS.

I guess the circles go around for ALL of us, not just a few......... just depends on each persons point of view, and with the all of the lying in the Anthony family that went on, who is to say whose thoughts and ideas are absolutely right, correct and true?

I doubt we will ever know what really happened due to all of the lying but I don't think any one of us has the monopoly on whose argument is a circle or whose is a square or whose is a straight line or a triangle. Anyone who thinks they know moreso than anyone else is kidding themselves.

The sidebar that occurred on Friday, June 24, 2011, was during Cindy re-direct.
And what you posted about what Linda said I remember that too...so there may have been 2 sidebars discussing the prior bad acts...

I can't imagine being in the position of a missing child/granddchild, so I can't exactly say what I would do/not do, but I do have some sense of it because of the kind of person that I am.

My impression of them seeing this as a $$ maker from reading depos, watching them at the time and the videos, etc., and I don't know exactly when this thought would have occurred to them, but I think they wanted to be like John Walsh and Mark Klass, "Celebrity Grandparents of a Missing Child", from the billboard on the top of the car, the "boat" they got in coordination with KidFinders, their relationship with those folks, etc., I think that was the "dream". I think that is why they started their first "Foundation", to catapult them on their merry way toward missing-child-stardom. to maybe hosting at TV show some day, to be jet-setting around the country for every high-profile missing child while using the donations to their charities, to stay in nice hotels, maybe fly first class, be on the news, to lend them their ear and support, remember when they went to see Jessica Lundford's Father, Mark I think, THAT is what I think they wanted to do. THAT is PART of why a LIVE Caylee could not be found. Their plans went awry when Caylee's little bones were found.

Now, again, were they taken advantage of at a very vulnerable time by the KidFinder people (Milstadts? sp?), were they making bad choices at the time due to their state of mind? I believe that can happen easily to people, who knows where your mind goes at a horrible time like that.

BUT, from what I am have seen and kept seeing until this recent dissolution of their third or fourth "charity", and who knows what we will discover in the months to come if whatever happened to that charity $$ is exposed, I don't think they were being taken advantage of, I think they ENJOYED it immensely, and were very disappointed when they could not continue on that quest of being the next Mark Klass.

and please, I am NOT making light of what Mark Klass or the A's went through, can't imagine, just trying to get my point across here.

eta: I added "part of" above as to why a live Caylee should not be found, the other part was because they were afraid of what evidence might be left to tie back to FCA. IMO, MOO, etc. But of they could keep the lie going that Caylee was "missing", they could continue to be Grandparents of a "missing" child...... and all that went along with that. IMO, MOO, etc.

Wonderful post and so true! Reminds me of the time they showed up to be in the spotlight for the Haleigh Cummings media frenzy. Even the Cummings had the good sense to turn them away.

Here is the link I like to look at to see how the book is doing, scroll down to the bottom and the bar graph, you can check how many books sold per day, week, etc., I checked for the week,

if you hold your cursor over the colored bar for each day, you can see the actual number (but it does declare on there somewhere some of the #'s are estimates only, so take with a grain of salt),

For example for this week (this is Amazon only, which I think is more popular than Barnes&Noble, plus mortar/brick stores),

Monday = 45 + 2 + 21 = 68 books
Tuesday = 35 + 0 + 8 = 43 books
Wednesday = 25 + 0 + 8 = 33 books
Today = 26 + 1 + 20 = 47 books

you can also change the pulldown to Sales Rank if you wish, plus some other choices!

I expect to see a huge drop in sales next week, I saw I think on Hal's that JB will be on Geraldo on Sunday, hopefully this book tour will then be at an end!! I would LOVE to know the total book sales for everywhere to date.......

Absolutely! I would think, any book written from; a/or many WS Sleuth(s) would have pictures of Caylee. She is the reason we are here fighting for her justice.

If or when, a book is written, I would hope all proceeds would go for the fight for justice for The Real Victims.

It is on Geraldo's FB page where it states JB will be his guest on this coming Sunday, saw it on another FB page I frequent, and since I can't paste the actual text from his FB page, it says something along the lines of ALL IN CAPS breaking news and states that this Sunday's guest will be attorney Jose Baez who is the author of the book he recently wrote and it says that he will discuss the stories behind the famous Casey Anthony trial and refute a lot of rumors. Questions are welcome apparently on this FB page, and so far I see 570 odd posts, I didn't read them but I can guess what they all mostly say!! We'll see if any get deleted, as is the case of many of these TV pesonalities, and i am sure Geraldo himself never even looks at this page, his staff does, as I assume is the case for most of these TV personality facebook pages!
