Ironically, there is indeed a one level underground parking garage at the Orange County Courthouse. It is only accessible by judges, law enforcement, and jail transportation.

It is the same parking garage Casey Anthony was transported through each time she came to court.

The Bank of America parking lot is above ground, but built into the building.

Mr Hornsby, What do you think of Baez's admission that he knew Casey was the one that looked up chloroform? Also that he knew Cindy was going to lie about it on the stand and say she looked it up herself?

I agree it was Jose's job to defend Casey in court and if the courts are okay with questionable ethics we need to try to change the system rather than faulting anyone who takes advantage of what the system allows.

But...now that the case is over and Jose is no longer Casey's attorney, he has no legal or professional obligation to defend her anymore. I am not saying he should be speaking out against her, but for him to try to make Casey look like a victim in court is one thing; to be doing it now after a far more favorable verdict than they ever dreamed of is despicable and self-serving, and is his choice rather than his job.

Also, for Jose to tout ad nauseum that George is the villain when he has yet to back up anything he touts speaks volumes about Jose, not just as an attorney but as a person. The defense has rested and the verdict is in; Jose should just be silent if he is not going to speak the truth.

Yes, the book reviews are great, but I'm saying do you know there is also a Discussion Forum, separate from the reviews? it is at the bottom of the page, below the tags? you may be referencing this but it seems folks on here are just talking about the actual Book Reviews, not the Discussion Forum, which is separate? You have to be viewing the amazon link for the Hardcover Book to see the Discussion Forum, if you are in the kindle link you cannot see it. There are 53 topics and lots of replies, separate from the book reviews, people are still actively posting in that Discussion Forum also.

Actually .. the way I remmber him saying it.. it was before the trial.. he found this out..
I have to run out for a few.. but when i get back ill look it up and post it.
He said somthing about how he had put this person on his witness list.

Oh I know he said that - but Mr. Baez is a person who says a lot of things...

Parking Garage not Underground Parking.

They went to the the building(Bank of America Center building) where Cheney Mason's law firm is in...
That building has an attached 5 level Parking Garage....

It's scary just how similar Baez and FCA are. Underground parking garage or above-ground. Not worth lying about. Yet he does. He lies just for the sake of lying. Just like FCA. What are the odds that she'd stumble on a lawyer as crazy as she is.

I mean allegedly happened? So far, I've read that JB says it was "early morning," but that Casey was on Facebook/Myspace from 9-11 am, and that George was searching "foolproof suffocation" or whatever at 1:50 pm. Is he saying that Caylee drowned (or was purposely drowned by George) in the early morning and then Casey went on Facebook/Myspace to get her mind off it?? And then George got suicidal and wanted to kill himself by suffocation?? :waitasec:

Or do I have the order of "events" totally wrong?

I actually have read and re-read that chapter and It makes no sense...
There is no time for the whole drowning.. crying.. curling up in fetus in room thing.....

Hes very unclear about when.. (that i can find..) he mentions both her being alseep when it happend.. and her being on puter when it happend..

I swear this is the most horid book ive ever read..Im still not done.. but have been trying to reseach as i go..
But its very mixed and and confusing.. and does not match the doc. dumps or depos.. etc.. ..
pulling my hair out..

gonna read about that day again.. and see if i can figure out when he says it happened

Yes, and approximately what time was it that Casey awoke from that "hard sleep," suspiciously all groggy and such? How can that be worked into his crack timeline?

I mean, one would presume that the preceding interval of deep sleep itself would have to be in there somewhere, too, right? Not just the dramatic moment of awakening, with George barking at her about Caylee having disappeared, immediately followed by the mad search, the 'discovery,' the "cried and cried and cried," and then back onto the bed for the fetal position?

Texting, talking on the phone, and Facebooking all the while, right?

What a crock it all is, IMO. :twocents:

P.S. The previously-discussed activity gap in FCA's phone/computer records that day might be explained by her grabbing a shower. JMO

ok.. at one point He writes this...

“

On the 16th [of June] I had fallen asleep,” Casey began. “I dozed off, and when my father woke me up, he started yelling at me, ‘Where the hell is Caylee? Where the hell is Caylee?’ “I got up. Usually I locked the bedroom door, but on this morning the door had been ajar. Caylee usually slept in my bed, but on this morning I was alone. I’m a light sleeper, but I couldn’t recall Caylee leaving the bedroom. My father and I started looking around the house.

Then..

Casey said that after George went to work later in the afternoon, she remembered he called her on her cell phone and told her, “I took care of everything.” And again he warned her not to tell her mother. Casey said she was frantic and did not know what to do. After pacing and crying for about an hour, she said she could not hold it in any longer and wanted to tell her mother and began to frantically call her. She tried Cindy at work and when she couldn’t get ahold of her there, she tried her cell. “I desperately wanted to tell her and I called her a bunch of times, but she didn’t answer.”

But then again he says.. a few pages later..

One reason certainly was the guilt Casey felt that she hadn’t been able to protect her child. She had been up most of the night before texting and talking to Tony, knowing she had to watch Caylee in the morning. She had also been on the computer early in the morning, just before seven, figuring Caylee would be okay with George for a little while, and when it turned out she was wrong about that, the guilt ate her up.

and..

While George was with Caylee, Casey was on the other side of the house in Lee’s old room, working on the computer. In looking at the computer records, someone was on the computer that morning from 6:52 A.M. to 7:52 A.M., with visits to Yahoo!, AOL Music, Facebook, and Myspace.

*all of the above quotes are quoted for the purpose of reviewing this book.....

So.. to me neither of these fit the time line we know.. .. This book is crazy making.

He also says.. this

Well ive read the cell phone reports and yes George did try to call her.. but in the docs.. it states that call was un answered by casey.

In that same chapter.. He talks about casey talking at work with her co worker Debbie B.
and that Debbie said that CA told her on the 17th that the pool ladder was up the day before and the gate open...

So in researching this what Debbie actually said in her interview with the police was that.. .. the day that cindy talked about the ladder was a couple days before she told her about the gas cans..(the 23rd was when gas can thing was) so that means cindy would have said.. it on what the 20th or so..

LMAO.. BBM. This is one of the most see through tricks (from the outside looking in) that Casey has in her arsenal of con weapons. Just from what we have heard from others.. Cookie was her soul sister and Amy was her BFF.. Tony was her only true love.... and Jose is her godfather. She operates by giving lavish compliments and making one think they are incredibly special to her. One of the best con games ever.. tried, true and usually successful (at least for a while)... THAT is how she gets folks to do what she wants and to let her off the hook when she screws them over. I have no doubt the church folks came in for their share of "specialness" from her. We all get taken in from that junk at first .. because each and every one of us knows we ARE special. Its beyond flattering when others recognize it as well.

And....isn't a Godfather (and Godmother) somebody who, when a child is born, you choose to aid in the SPIRITUAL upbringing of that child? Ummmm, me thinks Casey perhaps meant the "Hollywood" version of Godfather. MAKE THEM AN OFFER THEY CAN'T REFUSE (said in my best Marlon Brando whisper):floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Just another example of how she WANTS to portray herself as smart, but in reality is really NOT THAT SMART..... :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Remember the RadarOnLine story about her BAPTISM she was going to get a few months back, for that LOL? although I never believed that story, I do know Catholics have Godparents, how about other religions?

I think JB added a lot of B.S. to this book just for the hell of it, just to fill the pages :woohoo:

Ok.. Im still on my rant here....You will all have to forgive me for being a Thread HOG

This fractured fairy tale of a book.. Is a very very hard book for me to read...I just cant get it finished, but am working on it..lol..

I think if a person had just read the book after seeing the news.. or watching the trial .. but not looked at the doc dump and such.. It would be easier on them to read..(I still think it would never be concidered a good book by any person with a brain)

But I am a Logical person.. and try to figure things out.... I read the doc dumps and all the released info I could before the trial.. .. So here I read a bit of jose trash.... and say to myself..
wait a min.. that didnt happen..... or i dont remmber it that way..etc..
and off i go on my web searches and researching.. and get all caught up in figuring out the lies.. It is making me nutz.. ok ok.. well more nutz then i was to begin with..

the time frame thing on the 16th has me shaking my head...

ok back to read and research.. and post likes and dislikes on amazon lol
