I guess naiive works, it's more polite too

I know he is manipulative but I really do feel he is/was naiive in some regards.

I don't think he was ready (for lack of a better word) for a case like this but ended up winning anyway. I think he is one very lucky man.

I think he bought the ZFG story at first.....

Maybe I am wrong....JMO......

To this day it also bother me who Caylee's dad is. I can bet Casey screwed many but come on, every child has something of both parents. And if alive why did this sperm donor ever come foreward for his daughter?

Weren't there a couple of people who did come forward? guess they were found not to be her bio dad?

But I doubt those sources were covering the story on a regular basis, ala Nancy Grace. They might have mentioned when Caylee's body was found, but they weren't covering every development. The NY Times wrote 3 articles between July 2008-April 2012, for example. My point was that there are plenty of media sources out there you could get your news from and not hear much about the case. I doubt the other sources I mentioned (Rachel Maddow, Meet the Press, CBS Evening News) were covering the case much, except for huge developments, before the trial/verdict. There are many media outlets that are more focused towards towards politics, "hard" news, etc.

They are a full spectrum news source. Covering national and international news. They don't exclusively report anything. JMO

Have you ever known anyone who was considering suicide? seen them in the hours and days before they have committed suicide? I have and my observations are very different to what you say.

They don't display signs of being depressed and they don't show signs of something being wrong, if anything they can seem to be happier or calmer than usual.

Resctfully..some do present signs and others do not. I have had family who did..some were quiet and serene and others were giving away their possessions. No suicidal person is the same. Appreciate your views, mine are different. Thanks!

Another question for me. I didn't know that when CA died was ever really determined. I haven't been on this thread because I can't stand it, but was this ever established? tia

Did the prosecution even bring up the info about the counselor? This old brain can't remember. And weren't they only allowed to discuss Casey's behavior from the 16th on? Or am I misremembering?

JA wrote in his book something like - while they had reason to believe the fight happened, CA denied it happened, and would not come off her story of the three of them snuggling while watching movies that night. SA had no witness to the fight, CA and OCA would not admit to it, so they only had 2nd or 3rd hand hearsay (Jesse said LA said).

Same goes for the counselor I believe - it was a co worker who told LE what CA said about the private session and, again, CA would not confirm it. I think HIPAA confidentiality prevented them from speaking with the counselor.

I'm confused. Are you talking about the NY Times? I am just saying that someone could read the New York Times every morning, and they would only come across three articles about the case prior to the trial. This person would not know much about the case (unless they got their news from other places) but it wouldn't be fair to say they are ignorant of what's happening in the world.

According to Casey's attorney it was the morning or the afternoon of June 16th. His client probably can't remember.

The 16th is the date the prosecutors also gave.

I can't relly remember but nothing came as positive proof. My brain is old too.

First I want to say a big thank you to our members who uncovered this crazy evidence! :rocker:

I don't know if this has been brought up but can this be used at all in the civil case with ZG?

AND can a civil case for wrongful death be filed similar to what happened in the OJ case?

Not only the Rangers. My son is a Lt. for Garland P.D. and he is drop dead gorgeous. Oh wait are you talking about the baseball team? If so you are right they are all cuties. Too bad they are all so young too. lol

OR
He doesn't appreciate the intelligence of others...okay I'll say it.. Bloggers

I think he bought the Nanny story at first too...IMO she was playing him at the beginning but I also believe he wised up quickly and had a serious talk with OCA.

I think you're both right.

Pink, to answer your other post, "too late" means that the time limit for filing such a lawsuit has almost certainly expired.
Thanks, AZ. That's exactly what I meant. From the research I've done online, it appears that a wrongful death suit needs to be filed at least 2 years from the time of the death.

Sorry, PP that I didn't get back to you sooner, RL called.

Considering that tomorrow is Thanksgiving, most people won't be paying attention to the news. Friday is notorious for being the day when bad news comes out, because they hope it's buried by Monday. Is there significance to the report coming out this week? If the goal is for it to reach as many eyeballs as possible, wouldn't next week be better?

Why would any of the guys that had sex with Casey want to come forward? They are lucky that they got out when they did, IMO. It would take quite some time to test all of the guys that Casey had sex with during the time frame of when Caylee was conceived. Casey liked to bed hop and more than likely had no real relationship with any of them. No idea how many of them were one night stands either. Why would any of the guys want to put themselves into the situation now? It wouldn't do any good and would only ruin their lives. I can understand why no one came forward and do not blame any of them at all. Any of the guys that Casey had sex with at that time more than likely never even knew she had a child until Caylee was announced as missing and then later found dead.
