That's all it was about for Cindy- winnning... remember how she just LOVED the confrontations in her front yard, and when she came into court she seemed to be practically salivating at the thought she would win an argument with Linda Drane Burdick. As soon as Linda approached her, Cindy started with her impertinent way of answering. She felt untouchable as the grieving granny.
This whole case has been about the hatred Casey felt for Cindy. After watching her behavior for three plus years, I can see why...

Ya know I cosideredher testimony about the phone callan act but gave her the benefit of doubt. Think I was right

Yep, not only did Caylee have just a sperm donor as a father but she also had just an egg donor for a mother. :furious:

And she had 2 of the most [unusual people] on earth for what we normal people endearingly refer to as "grandparents".

A die-hard Casey supporter  on another site posed the question: "So tell me why Casey didn't just use that huge pool in the back yard as her means of suffocation rather than using Google?"

I'll tell you why.

Casey had no idea whether Caylee's body might be discovered long before it decayed into bones, therefore if found sooner, water in Caylee's lungs would have given the State "that huge pool in Casey's backyard" as evidence.

It behooved Casey to murder Caylee as "fool-proof" as she was able to master, leaving few traces of her own handiwork behind.

Oh my! :laughcry:

It's okay people. Really.

Yes, I screwed up AGAIN and accidently temp locked the Sidebar when I thought I was locking the Interview thread.

Don't worry. I'm going away now. I am gonna go pour me a glass of merlot and chill out. I will be much better soon!

So sorry! :iamashamed:
Enjoy:what:

So George has the ability to be two places at once...home and work. I want that ability. Sure would help with my life. How about yours?

Not only that but he was clever enough to login using KC's acct rather than his own. I haven't been giving George enough credit. :waitasec:

I guess if there are those who are going to arm chair quarterback and criticize the people who are on the side of justice and judge them inept and incompetent, I happen to think that not thoroughly searching the site where Caylee's bones were found and and not responding to Kronk's initial finding were way more derelict than a missed computer search.

They found so much damning evidence on the computer and in the end it didn't matter. This latest bit further solidifies to us what we all know anyway. But it is still circumstantial. This jury wouldn't have cared and JB would have spun it out (Just like he has been the last few days).

But had they found Caylee's body 5 months earlier, there would have been loads of forensic evidence that might have convinced this pampered, entitled jury.

I must re-post my favorite pic of the sign the jurors saw upon re-entering their hometown after the terrible awful no-good verdict.

I'm not happy about how TP is allowing JB to bash SA by saying they withheld evidence, and that he doesn't ask JB why in the world GA, while suicidal, would be accepting a FB friend for his daughter an checking her myspace.

I lol'd. Thankewww.

Hi Jose!:seeya:

you know it baffled me why FCA didnt go for social security, medicaid and ride the government teet and then I realized they want to know who the father is so they can go after him for his responsbility in the matter. I think she chose not to take this free money due to the fact she didnt know who the father was and would then have to admit there were 500 plus possibilities

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha HAHAHAHAAAAA!

Good one!!!!!!!!

Just popping in to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, even our Canadian friends because I'm thankful for them this Thanksgiving.

Absolutely!! Even before Kronk's call why didn't they start a thorough search spanning out from the place she was last seen...Hopespring Drive. And if not, Kronk's call should have resulted in Caylee being found. So many lost opportunities!

Let's not forget Dr G's testimony about the placement and purpose of the duct tape. To my mind she and the Prosecution proved that Caylee was suffocated. If the Jury couldn't see that, I am not sure the computer search would have convinced them...

Oh this is so painful to be drawn BACK into this nightmare BUT I completely & totally agree with ZsaZsa (& others feeling/thinking along the same lines!)! IF.....IRC, the gang of 12 were "hung-up" over the state's inability to demonstrate beyond a shadow of a doubt who, what, when, where,& why Caylee entered into the land of the non-living (last I checked those "5-Ws" were mantras for individuals working in journalism but I digress) and they did not understand the concept of beyond a reasonable doubt but wanted it proved to 100% certainty!
Again, this information would have required them to use critical thinking skills and apply logic, skill sets that appeared to be lacking or "rusty".
Would this computer data make a difference..............IMHO, with this particular gang of 12...............NOPE!

The victim speaks volumes to those who WILL listen, that victim speaks not only by his/her physical presentation but also by those conditions in which he/she is found, the items surrounding him/her and the individuals with whom he/she interacted.....THAT's how the entire story is told!

We will never know if in fact whoever her sperm donor was knew he was the father. But I wonder if he did or had the chance if things might have been different for Caylee.
And yet someday we might find out and hear that whole story.
She was certainly born into a nuthouse and they all got way with it.:furious:

And if he knows - or suspects - I'm sure he's just so excited about being linked to the woman who murdered her own baby and got away with it.

Meaning - he may not have known before hand - but with all the information flying around on the internet, might have been able to at least suspect. Not exactly the best time to be stepping forward into that media mess to claim his place in history when his daughter was past his help. Especially to claim he'd had a one-nighter with what her lawyer referred to her as "a 🤬🤬🤬🤬".

And imagine the negative press he would get - like why now - didn't want to step up when you might have to shell out child support - is it just that you want your 15 minutes or what....etc., etc

Most young men are not that brave...

I'm confused. Are you talking about the NY Times? I am just saying that someone could read the New York Times every morning, and they would only come across three articles about the case prior to the trial. This person would not know much about the case (unless they got their news from other places) but it wouldn't be fair to say they are ignorant of what's happening in the world.

I meant many news sources. I should have made that clear.

Thanks.

First of all, I really don't think he knew the timeline. I really don't.

Second, there are a lot of things that normal people might call "lying" that are not called "lying" for defense attorneys. This is no offense to defense attorneys--it's a tough job, and I'm glad it's not mine, but I understand the need for them. Suffice it to say that Jose was IMO not "lying" in the legal ethics sense by presenting a theory that he probably thought was false.

BTW Jose, I hope you've noticed how I keep defending you. I have a serious problem with objectivity--I have too much of it.

Nope.

I noticed that change. I understand that he still has it written the same way on Facebook, though--in fact, I was told that he repeated the same post again, except with better formatting, not long ago.

This new way, it seems to refer more to JWG. I can't imagine why he wouldn't want to fix the posts on his FB, unless he wants people to misinterpret it.

So JWG finds something that JB already knew about and JB is demeaning him? :waitasec:

My take is that it's too public. She can't be out there drowning a screaming child with people out on their back porches and such. JMO

However. the 31 days and the Zanny story threw them all off. It was a kidnapping not a murder early on.

I know but the Zanny story was so obviously BS and LE obviously knew that they should have done a sweep IMO. So sad.

Has it come out via the media about Casey and her prior use of the word 'fool-proof' in a message to a friend?
That seems pretty telling to me as it's a strange word to use, especially during an internet search.
When you put that with the password used during the log in it seems obvious who was conducting the search.
Not that it matters at this point beyond sending some negative attention her way....I hope it does anyway.

IMO

I saw this elsewhere...thought it interesting as it confirms "fool-proof" as a term Casey had used in the past, complete with hyphenating the word. My apologies if this has already been noted:

2008-05-12 MON 01:56pm. Facebook
Casey to Amy (FB) (From Facebook - Posted To Amy Huizenga): Casey Anthony (Orlando, FL) wrote To Amy Huizenga at 1:56pm on May 12th, 2008 "let's find new distractions...then distractions for our distractions. it's a fool-proof plan!"
I think that's one of our own's find...dear Desi.

Well, we kinda knew that the story was "off", but we sure as heck spent loads of time here trying to track down if the story was true or not.

I have no idea what is being written, so I continue to live in blissful ignorance.

However, I will say, just because I have never testified in court as an expert does not mean I am not right. Jose's own expert has a bit of egg on his face right now because he used an older version of NetAnalysis to decode the Firefox history. If my reading of the NetAnalysis change logs is accurate, he used a version to decode the file that required he manually add a bias for time zone and daylight savings time.

He was sloppy. Seems that happens a lot with browser history on this case. :banghead:

The later versions of NetAnalysis and Cacheback do the time zone bias automatically. Just like the 2004 version of the Perl script I initially found to decode the file. All agree that the search was done an hour later than what Jose's book says. OCSO did the search earlier this week. They agree too. :thumb:

So Jose, you are right. I have never testified as an expert. But that does not mean I am wrong. It just means I have never testified as an expert.

Should change to we are an anti Murder Website

BBM: YEAH! I like this.

We are anti-crime and pro-justice.

To say Websleuths is a "anti-Casey" website is just ridiculous because had Casey Anthony not killed her child, this website would have never heard of her, never sleuthed her, never said one single word for or against her. Casey got our attention when her daughter was reported missing by the missing tot's grandmother 31 days after the fact. That Casey was found not guilty in court is certainly not going to spur us Websleuthers to sing her praises, FGS.

WS is anti-murder, anti-child abuse, etc., and we always will be!

Well, we kinda knew that the story was "off", but we sure as heck spent loads of time here trying to track down if the story was true or not.

I'm sure! I was watching NG every night and reading Topix and other sites at that point. As you can see I joined here in Dec 2009. I finally got tired of looking for info and clicking on WS links which turned out to be private or have an image for members only. And then I found a home.
