So HLN has just bested itself in the "most tasteless" category. Baez is going to be defending Jodi Arias in HLN's mock trial Monday night. I find this so morally repugnant...words escape me.

Haven't posted in a while, but yesterday on the Orlando talk radio the midday show, I won't name it yet, they had a listener in studio who has in his possession pictures from 2007 of the party girl doing what she does best:furious:. The listener is shopping them out. This again disproves Mama that her darling daughter was a perfect mom and a homebody that never partied and was perfect to her baby. I am anxious to see the pictures, especially if someone other than the "A" family profits. I am sad about how much they have profited off this baby and her death. I don't post anymore because I was so sick at the verdict. Hope everyone is well and happy. I do follow Jodi trial and am amazed how much of a liar she is and just like CA and CA.:seeya:

Almost a year? Seven and half months? I am sure you have sales stats on how many Mr Ashton had sold at the eight month point after his release; what was his ranking then?

As far as riding coattails to achieve something; isn't that exactly what Mr. Ashton did to get elected State Attorney for Orlando and Osceola Counties?

Oh yeah, and another point - can you direct me to any opportunity in the media where Mr. Ashton continues to ride the coattails of Casey's infamy to continue to promote his book? Cause I don't think I've seen him on TV promoting it for at least a year.....:waitasec:

I don't want to rattle any cages since I am newly back but so what if Ashton used this trial to help defeat Lawson Lamar. This was NOT his only high profile trial he had an AMAZING career before FCA, HE was the one who helped DNA evidence go NATIONWIDE!! DNA is crucial to trials now AND it helps get the wrongly convicted OUT. JB has had nothing nada before FCA. The record stands for itself between the two lawyers... JB just getting lucky with an not so intelligent jury. JA DNA evidence being allowed in court. That alone will be his legacy after he is gone. JB cannot hold a candle.

My thought of the day is that I doubt many, if any, people come to this victim-friendly forum because they wish to parse someone's seemingly personal and irrelevant beef with the hardworking prosecutor of a heinous murder case, a case almost universally viewed as a travesty of justice for reasons beyond the prosecutor's control. JMO.

Ashton got elected because of his skills and experience, plus that most precious of qualities- integrity.
He was representing victims of crime for years while Baez was attending a bottom of the barrel law school, while selling Brazilian bikinis and waiting for 8 years for the Fla Bar to finally relent and let him practise law- something they had refused to do because of his totally unsuitable and unethical character.

I thought you were supposed to ride the coattails of a victory to success.

But, yes, you are right; Mr Ashton prevailed in achieving his goal, in spite of the fact that the jury didn't find Casey guilty.

Still, lol, if you want to paint him as having had a success ~ I will be the last one to stop you.

Well, we can just wait and see. You can't be "just a little pregnant" and the world will know in a matter of months. Guess she can just pop up and say she lost it.

Hmm this is taking me back to the pregnancy test found at the remains site. It always made me suspicious. Now I'm thinking this is her usual MO to keep a wayward man around. Remember that TL was going back to NY and possibly joking about staying there. If she could show him she's even a "little bit pregnant" he may think twice about abandoning her. She was probably just pmsing instead of preggers. Hope it's not true and she's just playing at being "pregnant" for publicity.
