also, Attorney Chinaris was listed as a Creditor on FCA's bankruptcy filing ....

Thanks ThinkTank I was going to check to see if he was listed

She listed her parent's attorneys as creditors so it's no real surprise she would list her Lawyer's Lawyer on her BK filing..

Not sure if Thomas Luka was paid or not for his services to Lee...but I believe he is NOT listed on her BK filing

If she can face her own criminal trial, she should attend her own bankruptcy trial. Talk about a temper tantrum.

Disappear my patootie! Nab her now Roy and Zenaidia! And yeah if she wants bankruptcy she needs to show up

Legal pundits are talking about how bizarre to even request someone turn over work product like her life story before it has even been produced. I kinda think that is not going to happen. What if they came to some agreement that IF she ever does sell anything like her story in the future she would agree to reserve X dollars for her creditors?

My guess is she will get away scott free as usual and make out like the bandit she is with a multi million dollar deal as all of this hoopla will only increase her value-sadly :-(

I don't know what the BK laws are regarding selling her story. I do know that a lot of the lawyers got the verdict of the murder trial wrong. These lawyers give answers depending on whether they are a prosecutor or a defense lawyer.

Go ahead Casey; run. You will be found. And brought back in cuffs :)

Absolutely they do to use Casey favorite word and I guarantee you these vultures wouldn't be hanging around her like she is a highly sought after movie star if not for the hope of one day cashing in big time.

I cannot wait for the day that pay off looks like it wont happen and then lets see how many of them keep hanging around offering up free legal counsel LOL

I pray everyday she will get her karma the whole lot of them

If you guys recall a meeting with Judge Strickland where he asks about some missing money in that 200K that ABC paid? It was around 68K and Jose just looked like a deer in headlights, so what happened to it? that is a lot of dough to just go AWOL

I remember that Judge Strickland asked Jose Baez about the disbursements during the indigent hearings - Baez replied that 89K was paid to him for his legal representation (in her cheque fraud hearings partially) and for how the rest of the money was disbursed, he provided documentation to Strickland during an in-camera meeting. Apparently Judge Strickland was satisfied with his records.

I believe this was during the same period Baez consulted an ethics lawyer regarding the selling of the pictures to ABC, his role in that sale, and how the money was spent.

Well I would say so, and pretty much everyone else who reads these threads - however - AZLawyer did say in one of her responses that it would not have been out of line for a lawyer to charge a defendant $500.000.00 for the kind of defense Baez and his legal team gave her during her criminal trial.

:stormingmad: Uh-huh. I hear you!

However, Baez sort of shot himself in the whatnots because he sold the ABC pics to fund her defense and had to declare it due to public outrage at "blood money" at the same time as she declared herself indigent. So he was held back working basically for zip during her trial, except for the backdoor selling of pics and articles to such sites as radaroline, etc.

He came very close to losing his shirt and his two properties. Sad, eh?
