Ya know, almost 4 years later (:notgood:) I really have grown emotionally attached to Heather and am sure most of here wish we could go back and warn her of that fateful night.

IMO

Exactly

Quick update involving today's hearing with Sidney:

Judge R. Markley Dennis denied a motion to kill a revised indictment charging Sidney Moorer with obstructing justice in two interviews he had with police after Heather Elvis’ disappearance.

But Dennis is considering a motion to suppress one of those interviews in which Moorer said he never left his wife’s side and was even handcuffed to his bed the night Elvis went missing. In an interview with officers at the Horry County Police Department headquarters, Moorer said he never called Elvis that night, a statement he later corrected after police mentioned the call records and video evidence they obtained.

In the interview, Moorer told police he didn’t want his wife to know he was calling Elvis so he parked across the street and walked to a payphone out of sight. But officers questioned that logic in the interview, adding that the payphone call lasted four minutes.

Moorer said his wife had trust issues with him after learning of his affair with Elvis and he had agreed to be handcuffed to their bed each night for six months after she found out.

Moorer struggled to recall exactly where he went with his wife the night anyone last heard from Elvis, which was another oddity Martin pointed out in court on Monday.

Moorer’s wife, Tammy Moorer, raised her hand when the judge asked defense attorneys if they had any witnesses to call in support of their motion to suppress. No witnesses were called.

Defense attorneys argued that the interview should be thrown out since Moorer was not read his Miranda rights before the interview with Martin began. But Martin was one of four officers Moorer spoke to at the station that day, according to testimony. The first officer was former Detective Allen Large, who Martin said was not a lead detective on the case.

The judge said he would consider the motion and make a ruling on a later date.

post of the day

Cheating on wife, not allowed to go anywhere without his wife, not allowed to have his own phone, and handcuffed to the bed every night = Happily Married.

'to be honest'

(we all know that that little qualifier means exactly the opposite)

a few seconds ago

"To be honest, I don't know," when Moorer was asked by the investigators what he thought could have happened to Elvis.

I've really decided that Tammy harmed Heather, SM knows, TM couldn't resist, but 'to be honest' , he doesn't know where Tammy put her. TM way of keeping control of SM.

And those glasses are not her look!

I definitely agree. I've thought all along that it was TM & not SM.

I further think this based on today's hearing where we heard the audio interview, I will try to go back tomorrow and get a time stamp and a clearer statement by TM.
I ccan't find it quickly, atm.
SM says, not verbatim, I'm paraphrasing, that TM was going to meet Heather, I think it was that night, somewhere and Heather never showed.

There is NO reason that TM needs to meet Heather in person for any reason!

The defendant is heard on the tape saying his wife found out about the affair with Heather Elvis at the end of October. Tammy Moorer had not met Elvis at that point, although she had planned to meet her at Broadway at the Beach to find out what, specifically, happen, according to Sidney Moorer's interview with police. Heather never showed up.

Moorer talked about phone call with Heather while he was with his wife.

Here is JerseyGirl's transcription of the hearing today, perhaps I misunderstood when TM planned to meet Heather. Was it the end of October or December?

BTW, I take it as that night, as it was also heard in the audio that TM and SM had sex in the truck, that night, at Broadway at the Beach.

The amount of times Moorer used those words in his 40 minute interview was staggering.

Adding in yesterdays hearing it is blatant to me that HE needed to talk to SM to share, perhaps IMOO, the news of pregnancy. Throughout the night there was the purchase of a test and a couple plans to meet up for her to take the test (and perhaps get beaten/strangled, etc) but HE didn't follow through.
After so long everything is jumbled in my brain. I need to go back and look at the timeline. I found it significant that he said TM wanted to meet up with Heather.

I'd be very interested in knowing whether this alleged planned meetup was supposed to happen that night or was he referencing something at some other point in the past? Doesn't really sound CLEAR that he meant that particular evening.

SM says he went to Walmart that night to buy a pregnancy test for TM. If TM thought she might be pregnant, then why was she drinking two different kinds of liquor?

There was never any physical proof that she was even pregnant...

From MyHorryNews (5/23/14) - Defense says Tammy Moorer is pregnant, bond still denied in Heather Elvis case

McCollum said pregnancy tests administered at Loris Community Hospital and Conway Medical Center showed positive results, as did an ultrasound at Conway Medical. A pregnancy test administered during her incarceration turned up negative, McCollum said.

<snipped for focus>

“She’s in the second trimester right now,” he said. “She’s pregnant.”

[...]

Really... where's the physical proof TM was pregnant and then "lost" it? :yuck: [GROSS]

And further, what were the results from the all important late-night Wal-Mart pregnancy test SM purchased?

Moorer admitted during the interview that he and his wife had sex in their car while parked in the parking lot of Broadway at the Beach, and again at a parking lot in the Conway area.

http://www.telemundoamarillo.com/st...aring-wraps-up-tammy-moorer-hearing-continued from yesterday's hearing

The indecent exposure arrest warrants accuse the Moorers of exposing themselves in public between Dec. 17 and Dec. 18 at 1325 Celebrity Circle and in Conway at Atlantic Avenue and Century Circle, respectively. Truslow said police charged the couple because they had “martial relations” in a vehicle prior to the case and it was irrelevant. But police learned the couple went to the places and had sex, then Tammy Moorer sent photos of their sexual positions to Elvis.

TM would've been blabbing all over Facebook if she had been pregnant. moo

I think this story was to cover for SM buying the pregnancy test that night.

YES! I don't believe for a split second that TM was pregnant during those months. Total cover-up. I also agree with you that it would have been posted everywhere as we all know she has a big mouth. She definitely would have said something during that initial angry rant about her 'so-called husband who was sleeping with a tramp' (paraphrasing). She would have used a pregnancy to make herself out to be the poor pregnant housewife who was being cheated on.
