I knew that they are used in the Phillippines...I have bought a skin-whitening tonic from the Filipino store to use on the dark spots that pimples leave behind.

And to think that here I despair over wanting to be tan...:)

LOL absinthe....its quite ironic isnt it. They try to lighten their skins while we try to darken ours.

It is. I watched a documentary about the telemarketing business and the US outsourcing that sort of thing to them and they're trying to sound and look like Americans. They wear blue contact lenses and they want to sound like valley girls and they're bleaching their skin. If it wasn't going on, there would be no need to advertisement. If they want Western dollars, they're going to have Western influence. Now I'm all for bringing the business back home where it belongs, but they can't have their cake and eat it too.

WTF. Running an ad to convince women you DON'T want to look like that?

I'm not much for the superficial crap. But she is awfully easy on the eyes.

No joke!!! She could move to the US and become a superstar!

I think I read somewhere(I'm always reading something somewhere lol) that Hollywood are making their first big Bollywood movie and Slyvester Stallone and Arnie will be in it.
