Thank you so much Garnan. It:blowkiss: is tough and his brother (also 12) has serious health problems and doesn't have long either. It's just overwhelming.

I know it seems nothing is going on, however, I have close friends in LE that know what is going on but all they will tell me is that they know who did it. Now, when will they make an arrest, no one can answer that. I didn't want to take advantage of my friendship so I didn't push him. That just wouldn't be right. But keep your hopes and prayers going

LE knows who did it? Yea!!! That is the first I have ever heard of that. It gives me hope that justice will eventually be served. BTW, I am a HUGE Sooner fan!!

Sooner I wish that saying I'm sorry, about your dog, could make it better. I thought about THIS when you posted what happened and I just wanted to share it with you in case you hadn't seen it before. I am sorry though, from the bottom of my heart. I am an animal FREAK. I look for their 'zippers' sometimes because you'll never convince me that there aren't little humans in those 'pet suits.'

Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Author unknown...

Much love Sooner.....you'll see him again my friend...I truly believe that.

Yea !! That is really a relief. I would think after 2 months the LE would have some suspects, but I hadn't heard that. Lets pray, they do have some information they are withholding. Texas killed a murdered lastnight, I'd love to see Oklahoma follow suit.IMO

Shutterfly, If you do go, you will need to dress to fit in (I'm a business female) and If I come into town in a nice pants suit and ask at local restaurant where someone lives) chances are there aren't talking. I am an insurance adjuster so only when I tell them I have a check for so and so do they talk. They are very good hearted people and hardworking. But can readily spot an outsider. Hoping for the best

what..

Oh, there are no motels in Weleetka which means you would more than likely stay in Okemah, which is about 10 miles from Weleetka. I could direct you to some locals, but I'm really not sure how much information you could get that you don't already know.

Living in the area, I would strongly suggest staying in Henryetta versus Okemah. Not only would you be closer to the crime scene but you would also be near many that have been questioned/know things about the case. But that's JMO

If they know who did it why haven't they named the person a POI?

Being named a POI doesn't mean they have to be arrested.

Exactly!

Also, this friend in LE, I play golf with he and his wife at Arrowhead every Friday and go out to dinner with them on Friday nights so all is not lost, possibly he will be able to tell me more.

:praying::praying::praying:...that they know who did it and an arrest will come SOON!!!!

Shutterfly, of course you are still a journalist, you are simply Freelance now! I think it would be great for you to poke around. You might be able to write a book or do a special spot for one of the papers.

:woohoo:
They have not told ME who it is, only that they know, so I would have to assume they are watching and waiting and don't want to alert anyone until they get test results/DNA

:woohoo: See, Sutterfly, becareful in Henryetta that is a very prejudice little town, those peope are strange. If you aren't white....things could get nasty.JMO

This may have been the view of Henryetta in the 60s, 70s, maybe even 80s, but not anymore! We welcome any newcomers, regardless of race, especially if it's someone that is wanting to help dig into the case more.

Henryetta, isn't in the same county as the murders. Okemah would have more information I would think. IMO County officals, local LE, as well as OSBI are in Okemah.

If the girls had been in the ditch right across the dirt road, they would have been in Okmulgee County. Okmulgee County LE were the first ones on the scene. Half of the people LE are questioning are in Okmulgee County. Just because a person lives on a certain side of an invisible county line doesn't mean they only associate with those in that county. The only reason LE are in Okemah is because it's the county seat for Okfuskee, not because it has anything to do with what happened.

Hey ya peeps, I've been reading here since the board came back up but haven't posted. I'm halfway to catching up for today's thread but just wanted to throw in a comment. Yall have been talking about the clown groups bad/good....I haven't seen anyone mention this, but don't you remember in Skyla's Funeral Guest book was that somewhat spooky clown. I'm at work and can't go look, maybe someone can find it. I thought it was spooky at the time.

Ya, a clown with a monkey puppet eating a hot dog.

~snip~ quote from FROG
I'm not pointing fingers, and I am not saying I believe this is our guy(s) but we have been concentrating so much on revenge, that I dont want you all to forget about the old man in the woods.
I have been told by locals, in the past, that his crimes should have ended him up in prison more than once, but instead, he was delared mentally insane, thus avoiding imprisonment. I was also told that his wife accidently choked on a weiner and died.

coincidence????

To Shutterfly: No one thinks you are a fruit loop, lol. It's funny because reading your post, I feel the same way. No case has ever affected me like this before in my entire life. I feel such a strong connection to this case and I keep asking God to tell me why. I think maybe it is the mother in us. That is the only way I can explain it without sounding like ......a fruit loop. As mothers our basic insticts are to protect our children, no matter what. I doubt you can find one mother on this board that would not die for their child. I know I would in a heartbeat. The fact that those children were gunned down in cold blood is more than any mother can bear.

I could not sleep for weeks after the murders. I would wake up in the middle of the night and my first thought would be of Skyla and Taylor. Skyla resembles one of my own daughters. Everything about her reminds me of my own. I would love to go to OK as well, but would never mention it to my husband...he would definitely think I am crazy. But as you, I am a wife, a mother, a professionally employed person, and very involved with my kids, activities etc. I know I'm not crazy because I care about two little girls that were so brutally taken from this world for no reason. I'm just human.

Exactly, thats what I said..Okfuskee County...Okmulgee County were not first responders, Weleetka LE were. It really doesn't matter where or what, I was merely stating Okemah LE..OSBI..and Weleetkans are who she would want to talk to, but I doubt she would learn anything new, its all same ole, same ole. With no new leads, no motives, and apparently no suspects.

I am not certain that Weleetka LE was first on the scene is correct. When the 911 was, Okmulgee County Dispatch received the call, HPD and Okmulgee CSO were the first on the scene, then WPD and Okfuskee CSO responded. The Okfuskee CSO received the call from Okmulgee Co at 5:41. The fact is, alot of people are thinking/saying LE and news should focus on Weleetka, Okfuskee Co and Okemah, when really Weleetka, Graham, Dustin, Ryal and Henryetta are the towns that have been affected the most, regardless of what county those communities are in.

Shutterfly~
I like many others, do not think you are crazy. I feel the same way you do. My daughter works at a network TV station in OKC and I begged and pleaded for her to go and shoot a story and do some interviews on her day off. Her station and others seem to have moved this story to the back burner and appear apathetic about being the "maverick" leader. I too debated taking my own equipment and heading up there, but honestly I'm a bit uneasy about being a woman "unprotected" in that environment. Let me know what you decide.

Shutterfly, I would go if I could, so I don't blame you. However, your proposal, especially with a small child in tow, makes me very uncomfortable. Remember, the killer/s are still out there! They have already killed two children viciously. If you are a good investigative journalist, and they thought you were getting too close? Please don't go, Shutterfly!
