The three earlier guys were described as suspects. These two are witnesses-witnesses in shackles. So two young guys- 18 and 19, and three people in their 30's ...Don't know where this is going, but I am hopeful.

If the article is correct I wonder if they have even tracked them down yet? Did they get the subpoena to testify and then immediately left the area? If so, why?

While I'm glad we finally have some names and faces that are being questioned in the Grand Jury, I wouldn't put a lot of hope in charges being filed. There is an unsolved murder in the small town next to where I live (it is listed on the OSBI's web page as unsolved murder). A woman was found shot numerous times in her back yard in broad daylight about 12 years ago. A grand jury was called to really question her boyfriend at the time (a past county commissioner who served time in federal prison for the county commissioner scandal of the 1980's). He was later convicted for lying to the Grand Jury about owning a gun when he said he didn't own a gun. Other than that.... the crime is still unsolved. I think the prosecutor called the grand jury with the OSBI's input to try to put some pressure on these witnesses. Their stories just don't jive for some reason!

I notice it also says:
The current multicounty grand jury is not expected to hear more witnesses and is not expected to issue any indictments over the deaths. Another multicounty grand jury is likely to be formed in a few months and could help the OSBI if the case is not solved before then.

· Bryant
· Parents said he heard the shots fired at the girls but did not witness the killings
· His father said his son was at a friend’s house at the time of the shooting. The father said his son, along with the friend and friend’s family, then went to Walmart.
· Was friends with Dustyn Dailey but not anymore according to parents
· Father said OSBI agents have been harassing Mike, who he says is mentally challenged
· Parents said they notice undercover officers in van taking photos of them and believe their phone has been tapped

3. Toney Kelough, 30
· Weleetka
· Admitted seeing the girls playing in their yard the day before the shooting.
· Said he was with a girlfriend when girls were killed
· Lives about eight miles from the crime scene
· Says he was at girlfriend’s house at time of murders
· Had red stains on his shirt and pants — marks that Kelough said were wood stain from a woodworking project
