My goodness, Flossie, you sure have been busy!

While doing your research did you come across anything about girls being violent against one another? I remember a number of years back, there was a mother of a high school cheerleader, who murdered another cheerleader.

Does anyone else remember that?

Hi Little~
Profiling is a hobby of mine. I have a bunch of books and internet sources that have helped through the years. It took some time to find the info. that Tapu and Ocean wanted. I hope it answers everyone's questions.

I do remember the murdered cheerleader case. It occurred in Texas. It was so sad and senseless. (As most murders are.........) The mothers name was Wanda Holloway.

I have never read anything about same sex (male-male or female-female) crime. I am sure there is information available. I have just never found it a subject to study.

Have a good day~

Are they overkills or are they more like frenzy killings?

It seems if they were overkills that each bullet would have been into a vital area that would either seriously harm the victims or would cause imminent death. The excessive shots actually seem to be to me more of haphazard shots with some of them not hitting fatal areas. IIRC there was only two bullet wounds that had gunpowder residue on them. That would mean that the other shots most likely were fired from some distance away and the ones who had gunpowder residue or stippling would be the close up shots. Handguns are usually used for close distances the further away when fired they will lose their accuracy.

imo

Hi Ocean~
Could you please tell me the difference between overkill and frenzy killings? I have looked on the internet and can not find a definitive explanation of frenzy killings. I was able to find a definition of the individual words: frenzy and killing but not as an example of murder. I remember you mentioned frenzy killing in a much earlier post and I meant to research it at that time and then forgot about it. Below I have posted what I found on overkill and frenzy. I am also curious as to whether you think the gunshots that left powder residue were the first shots fired or the last shots fired. (Or somewhere in the middle of the madness of the firearms being discharged.)

Letsthink, a red haired Paschal? whatsat mean? sorry I'm dense. Maybe there was a reference to a red haired suspect or something?

I have to check the Dream or Psychic thread but I think CC had a clue about a red head.

Re: the Arkansas Paschall - wasn't he in custody when the murders were committed?
I think so based on that link or maybe I'm not reading it correctly?

Hi Boots! Are you talking of the link that LetsThink provided? If so, I'm reading it the same way, sentenced to 8yrs on 9-12-07, so it would certainly seem that he was still incarcerated in June of 08. Early release is possible, but I wouldn't think it would be THIS early... JMO

Cheers,
KP

Hi, Keyboard - good day to you!

Yes, that's the link I was referring to and I don't believe he's out yet - based again on info in that link.

...and a fine day to you as well!

Yeah, I would think that the "Current Facility" would say something like "Released" if he were not currently incarcerated.

Not only that, but... His name on that link is spelled with two L's at the end i.e. Paschall? That may not even be a relation, IMO.

Take care!
KP

The Rosita Gordon mentioned in this Tulsa World newspaper article regarding requested divorces, is she Skyla's older sister?

In the obit, it showed she has a sister named Rosita Gordon in Tulsa, OK.

Was anyone aware if she was married and if so, I'm wondering if the murder of Skyla played a part in the dissolution of her marriage?...

Lauren, Here's what I found.
QUOTE: One of Skyla's sisters, Rosita Gordon of Tulsa, recalled for mourners the kid sister she knew "my Skyla".

Just a heads up...I was just told on another thread the person is "possibly" writing a book on this case and is here to do "research". Interesting. Were you aware of this?
