Are we sure that Taylor is not the bio child of Peter and Vicki Placker??

Didn't someone say that Peter is 48? Vicky looks about the same age. They could have had Taylor when they were in their 30s.

In the obit it says Taylor was born to the parents of Peter and Vicky.

Does anyone know if Skylar's family has been vocal at all about this?
Just to cover other corners; would it be possible Skylar may have been the intended target?

Not a word from Skyla's Family.
Of course it COULD be Sky was the target...but she was not at home and who would have known she was at Taylor's house? I would think if Sky was the target there would be evidence on say her computer or cell phone that she was in communication with the killer, he knew where she was and we would have a suspect named by now.

Sky was only 11 and Taylor was 13 - Taylor might have been interested in boys etc, but Sky was probably a little behind Taylor in that area. But, of course it could be Skyla was the target and it was some pervert who was cruising online and arranged to meet her at the bridge by Taylor's house at 5PM on Sunday afternoon. If so, he drove over, waited on the bridge (a fairly busy, open location) never touched her, followed the girls down a busy road and just shot Skyla and Taylor multiple times with two guns because he's a psychopath.

Nobody know anything about motive or who (if either girl) was the intended target.

My Opinion

Has anyone done an extensive search on Skyla's family?

A child that wasn't his? Weren't he and Vicky her parents and she called them mom and dad. Sounds like she was their kid to me.

imoo

My point exactly to the other poster about Peter being her real grandfather. I think the entire question of paternity has come from the Paschal name. And from personal experience a child with a hyphenated name is because of a situation like this. Where custody is taken by someone but legally the child has another name. Both last names are used.

ETA: Hyphenated names are common among blended and foster families.

Good point. If this is the case than the biological parent would most likely be either be Jennifer or Jessie.

And that would make sense. The Paschal name came from somewhere.

In the obit it says Taylor was born to the parents of Peter and Vicky.

Shortly after the pair left, Taylor's grandfather and her guardian called Paschal-Placker's cell phone, trying to get them to come back. When the call went unanswered, he went looking for them. About a half mile north of the house, he found both girls on the side of the road.

The bodies of two young girls shot to death near the small town of Weleetka in Okfuskee County were discovered by the grandfather of one of the girl's, along a dirt road the two best friends used dozens of times to play on and walk to sleepovers, according to grieving family members

To know Taylor was to love her, her grandfather said. She was the big-hearted girl who rescued helpless turtles crawling in the middle of the road and wanted to become a forensic scientist, like on the TV shows, said Peter Placker, who said he raised Taylor like she was his daughter even though he was her biological grandparent.

She was home-schooled until the family moved to Weleetka, located about 70 miles south of Tulsa.

Skyla had been spending the night at Taylor's house, and the two had decided to take a walk along the dirt road to the bridge over Bad Creek. It was something both girls had done many times before, and the bridge was only about a quarter of a mile from Taylor's house, where she lived with her grandfather and legal guardian, Peter Placker. When the girls failed to return home in a timely manner, Placker called Taylor's cell phone but got no answer. Mildly concerned by the lack of response, Placker set out on foot to locate the two girls. "He got 200 to 300 yards north of the home and found the girls on the side of the road," OSBI special agent Ben Rosser told Adaeveningnews.com. "Both girls had been shot multiple times. Both girls were dead at the scene. At that time, he (Placker) took a cell phone from one of the girls and made a 9-1-1 telephone call to notify the authorities."

Taylor's grandfather found their bodies after his wife got no answer when she called Taylor's cellular phone. The girls were sleeping over at Taylor's house and had decided to take a walk down the desolate road Sunday afternoon.

Wednesday, Joe Mosher, Taylor's great uncle, said the family is distraught and not interested in talking to the media.

TY for the clarification.

His son was discussed greatly in the previous threads.

I'm thinking that Taylor was born to someone underage, and Taylor's other hyphenated name is her bio dad's last name.
How old are Peter and Vicki's kids??

PS..so Suzie, you think it was PP son who had Taylor, and she's not Peter's daugher's kid?
That's odd, because I'd think the bio mom's family would've kept Taylor...since their daughter gave birth to her. You think Taylor was raised by her paternal grandparents, correct?

The way this family is fond of aliases and nicknames and penchant for serving jail time, anything is possible. For all we know the Bio dads family was in prison and couldn't or didn't want Taylor. I no longer think we can assume typical family dynamics here.
