I think Josh has his gloves off because he had to press the timer button and then run round to get into the picture. The camera flash woudl easily blot out any lighting from the campfire. I think people are reading more into this picture than is there.

However it's still a wierd picture to choose for the website, and Josh should have got this website up days after Susan went missing (sometime back in December when he mentioed it to Kiirsi Hellewell) and not months later. He should have included links to the other sites searching for Susan (or are they somehow illegitimate according to the Powells' definition?) and much more detail about the case, and less about his likelyhood to burst into song FCOL.

It will be interesting to see if the site gets updated or in any way added to in the coming weeks with news of the boys' progress. I'm not holding my breath.

He enjoys problem solving and he is a computer programmer by trade.

Noticed that myself, Dr Fessell. Seems to be mocking her, makes her sound like an unimportant housewife and no mention of her current job as a stock broker for Fargo Wells.

Edit to add, not sure about ya'll, but kids at that age usually love getting their pictures taken, love hamming it up for the camera. Least mine did & still do. Not sure what to make of the kids' facial expressions, or lack thereof. Anyone else notice that?

I think it is a stripe on the boys pants, not a hanger. Look at the other pant leg toward the bottom. You can see a stripe on the side in the same color. They were not making smores in my opinion. I doubt they were even in the woods.

I think the new website was written by the same person who wrote Steve Chantrey's site.

Whoever wrote it was really proud of that fire and snow picture since they used it on the front page.

Why has it taken 3 months for that picture to come out. I mean one of the main things in the news has been the nonsense story of Josh taking the boys out late at night camping.

Why didn't Josh produce that picture earlier?

I have a feeling Josh's dad had a big hand in making that site up and insisted on putting that picture on there because for some reason Josh sure did not want to produce it earlier. Could it be an area or farm not far from West Valley? Could it be where Susan's body is?

This just makes me sick. He made the website to 'get back' at Susan, because people still love her and miss her, and are smart enough to know he had a hand in her missing status. He didn't create that site out of love, but out of hate.

It is possible to angle a camera up or down on a tripod, so that doesn't prove it wasn't a self-portrait.

If a third person took this picture, which is entirely possible, that person will eventually recognise it and may recall the event, time and place it was taken, and come forward with the information.

Among the many things I find creey and off-key about the website is the way it refers to Josh in the 3rd person. He either wrote it himself or his dad wrote it for him, but why not use the first person? It suggests an over-inflated ego.

You are right that it's not a hanger! Lol! I thought Josh's shoe was a marshmallow on the end of the hanger! Lol!

If you hold down the controll key then press the + key, you can zoom into this photo without distorting it.

I still think the flesh color by the pack hanging around Susan's neck is a hand and not the exposed skin of the child.

Also, notice how brightly colored that child's glove is compared to the glove on the other boy's hand.

Notice the glove is on the wrong way on the boy on the left. The thumb is sticking up in the wrong direction.

In my opinion, the hat Josh is wearing has been airbrushed. It's an odd shape, for one thing.

There are things about this photo that just aren't right, including the blurring of JP's shirt and the end of the boy's scarf he's holding.

Also, who wears a dress leather jacket near a campfire where sparks can burn holes in it?

In my opinion, this photo has been altered.

Because Josh Powell did NOT make this web site! Someone else did! Josh Powell gave this person access to the web site. Since he's put no effort into finding Susan to date, we can assume he put no effort into this web site!

The attorney said that some of Josh's supporters were working on a rebuttal to disprove the allegations made during the press conference in which Shelby Gifford spoke about the domestic violence, Josh undermining Susan's parenting techniques, forcing her to grow her own food, riding a bike to work, not being able to use the van when she wanted to, etc.

Based on the background of lavender flowers, I am suspecting it was a woman and probably the woman who mooned the cameraman!

If you enlarge the picture by hitting ctrl and + (thanks to the user who told how to do this earlier) Susan's fingers are all twisted in the glove she has touching the ground. Either her fingers are not in the finger holes of the glove or she has very flexible finger joints!!

There are just too many strange things about the photo:

JP's hat looks airbrushed. Maybe it was the infamous hat from "The Blue Cap" interview?

I think it looks like a hand down near the lower portion of the bag Susan has around her neck.

The one gloved hand on the boy on the RIGHT looks VERY strange. The colors aren't as bright.

The blurring of Josh's shirt and the end of the boy's scarf is suspicious.

Josh's hand around the boy is a strange color also.

Josh's hand is clutching something that looks like a sleeved arm.

The bright red "number 9" on the boys glove is odd.

The fingers on the ends of Susan's gloves on the hand that is on the ground look strange.

JP's shoes look VERY strange.

The snow is highly trampled unlike what you would find at a campsite in the winter time.

HOLD DOWN THE CTRL KEY THEN HIT THE + KEY (UNTIL THE PHOTO WON'T GET ANY LARGER) TO INSPECT IT. I USED A MAGNIFYING GLASS ALSO.

My question is why does Josh has the terrible skin problems like he had after his Dec 7th camping trip, but Susan's and the boys' skin looks unaffected by the cold/wind/elements?

Can anyone who knows this family tell us if Josh has always had skin problems?
