Hmmn I found a Craigslist ad for a Tempur-Pedic king size mattress --T&J's names on the ad with that land line phone number from October 25th 2009
I think it was in the wanted section -- the ad has expired, but it shows up in a Google search of the land line
Can I post what I see? or is that against TOS --so confused lol

ETA found another ad on CL for a massage bed dated 12/30/2009 that says they are downsizing -- hmmn I thought they were building up the business

Thanks Prof. It could be a landline for the business but it wouldn't be considered good business practice to have your business phone unlisted I would think. I sent it in just in case.

ETA: Just saw your edit. They may have cancelled their land line and someone else has it now as a cell number?

I just found this site. Not Craigslist, but very much like it. I happened across it in a child abuse news article out of Mesa AZ where the mom advertised as an escort, so may be used in the AZ area, and Eliz may have used it. I haven't even begun to sleuth it, because I just found it. Wanted to post the links in case some others have time to jump in and help sleuth it.

Place a free classified ad with photo. Find houses for rent, apts for rent, local jobs, and local for sale classifieds on backpage.com.

I used this post: Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community - View Single Post - AZ-Gabriel Johnson, 8 months, MSG 26 Dec 09 thread #15 and searched the Phoenix ads for listings similar to EJ's CL's listings and found nothing. I also searched for the last four digits of her phone number, no results.

Backpage is somewhat popular in Phoenix, so it's a good idea to check them to see if EJ posted there. Someone else may want to try other keywords to see if they can find anything.

What parks or event places did EJ go to again. This may be far fetched, but people always take pictures at parks, amusements parks, and big events. Most people now days use Flickr, Picassa, and other sites to upload them too. Please refresh me on the places she went to like that. I hope if we all band together and find pictures that people have posted, maybe EJ and the "the bad people" will be in the background of the pics to identify their faces.

That's a great idea, danisisa. We have rumors she went a park (unnamed), a rumor from Yami the reporter that she went to Raymond Russell County Park, and a rumor that she went to Six Flags.

I don't know exactly where to post this, it's not quite a tip, but it's background on Cricket service for those that may be unfamiliar with this carrier.

Cricket provides two forms of prepaid service, pay by the month for unlimited service or you pay by the day on the days you use it with the Cricket PAYGo plan. Neither plan requires a deposit or a credit check. Generally speaking, when you buy a new phone from them, you get the first month of service for free. They've been offering a refurbed Samsung for 9.99 for the past few months and have also been sporadically offering deals on their unlimited monthly service that start at 25 dollars. Their deals change frequently, so the plans you see on their site today may not be what was offered in December.

It is very difficult, if not impossible for most people to use a non-Cricket phone with Cricket. Phones like the iPhone can not be used with Cricket. Cricket is part of the CDMA network. "Of the U.S. carriers, AT&T and T-Mobile use GSM while Sprint, Verizon, and smaller carriers such as such as MetroPCS and U.S. Cellular use CDMA." Let's say I stopped service on my Cricket and gave it to my neighbor, he could then take it into a local Cricket store and get service in his name. Or, if I took my Cricket phone to another state, I could use it to get service in that state.

About the charger supposedly found in EJ's room.. Cricket sells a phone, the TXTM8, that apparently uses the same charger as the "Apple iPhone 1st Genration, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3G S / iPod Touch 1st, 2nd Generation".

The IPod as you may know is not a phone, but it does have wifi and internet browsing, and there is an app you can add for text messages, evidently

IF EJ had an IPod all she would need is a Cricket for telephone calls
IMO She called the babysitter most likely on the 21st or 22nd latest -- she needed a phone to call her at least
I am going to guess she called the 21st as the appointment seemed important

Prof, that site I linked to in my prior post sells a charger that works for the iPod, the iPhone as well as the TXTM8. The site says "Compatible with Apple iPhone 1st Genration, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3G S / iPod Touch 1st, 2nd Generation, PCD TXTM8"

Sorry for the confusion in my earlier post, I was actually making two points and they ended up mashed together. I'll go back and correct the post and clarify it here:
1) Non-CDMA phones (like the iPhone) do not work on the Cricket network
2) The Cricket TXTM8 can use a charger that is compatible with some iPhones as well as iPods, so EJ could have been using an iPod charger to charge her phone, if she owned a TXTM8.

Also, the Cricket TXT8 has mobile web and full texting capabilities, so if EJ had a TXTM8, she could have used that to surf the web as well as send messages without having to worry about using wi-fi. http://www.mycricket.com/cell-phones/details/Cricket-TXTM8
EJ may have even bought a used TXTM8 here in AZ, I just looked at CL and found a few that were $50 or so.

I wouldn't assume anything. I assumed that LE had her cell phone records and called everyone on it and interviewed them but then we find out from the baby sitter that she is the one that contacted LE after seeing a story on the news.
