It's my own gathering after obtaining her cell # and no I did not submit anything to LE, assuming they have it. If anyone disagrees with that, let me know and I will!

With Cricket in SA, You can have a phone "flashed" and it will work with cricket, not sure about Iphones and such, but alot of phones from other carriers can be, also it is real iffy that some features will work when a phone is flashed, it most likely will not be able to send or receive picture messages.
also, our plans here tend to stay around the same. 44 a month is uselly all you need, unlimited everything, and may also include talk text and pics. 100 free min a month to mexico. and mobile web. also some roaming minutes, for unlimited roaming, it is a little bit more.
also, if she paid 4x.xx at cricket and walked out with a new phone, she could have bought the cheap phone, which does nothing except talk and text. or she got the cheapest plan and paid their 15.00 connection fee with a phone she brought in.

If LE did not have the babysitter's number on EJ's cell phone records, and we know she used the hotel lobby computer at some point, she might have looked up the babysitter from the lobby computer and called her using the hotel phone. They have free local direct calling according to their website. This would have been before she had her SA phone IMO, which some great sleuthing by Yellow Submarine tells us was on the 21st. So did she call the babysitter on the 20th as soon as she got there and make arrangements for the 23rd? Was it really the 23rd that the babysitter was there? This date comes from the housekeeping staff who say they saw her in the room. Are they sure about that date?

The babysitter has been very vague about when she was contacted and when she actually babysat and I don't really understand that. I wish someone who is interviewing her in the media would just come out and ask her. It seems pretty simple, did EJ call you and arrange another day to babysit and how many days in between was it. Or did she call you on the day you were to come and babysit and you went there right away. Why can't anyone get a straight answer about those most important details out of this girl? I can only confirm that it appears she was having a conversation on her myspace wall on the 21st during the noon hour. But I live in EST so I don't know how the times on myspace work. Would I be seeing times only in EST when viewing myspace so that the times I'm looking at aren't neccessarily correct if someone is in a different time zone? Can anyone answer this?

There have also been conflicting reports about what day EJ was checked into the Homegate hotel. Some say the 20th, others say the 22nd. I would think they would have weekly rates that would be cheaper so it makes more sense considering her travel time from AZ for her to have checked in on the 20th and paid for one week. I wish LE would clear that up in the media. I hope the family is more informed about that because it will make a difference in LM's trip out there. Is he looking for places she may have stopped on the 19th, 20th and 21st or can they confirm for him that she definitely made it to the Homegate on the 20th and he only has to consider that she stopped somewhere else on the 19th?

I also would like to know why there are reports that the hotel staff who identified the date the babysitter was there, say that the babysitter was not the one on the news --so could there have been two days where a babysitter came? or more? Maybe AU came on the 21st, for instance, and EJ did not like her because she was late arriving, so she found another babysitter for the 23rd?
It is possible she found someone else who either does not watch the news, or who does not want to the spotlight?

As far as time stamps, I assume they are in your time zone -- or the time zone you have your computer set to? For instance, I am posting this at 8:45 my time, and my computer right now is set to PST, so I see it as PST, but if I changed my computer to EST, I'd see the time stamp in EST--does that make sense to anyone? because I am not postive that it always works that way-- what time does it list me as posting this for you? lol

ETA OK I am wrong, as I just changed my computer clock and it did not change the time of this post - I guess it depends on the time zone you enter on your ms set up? just as you can change the time zone here on your WS set up?

Great posts Kamille and Prof about the babysitter. I just don't get the strange discrepancy and the vagueness - the staff saying that is not the same person and the babysitter not knowing what day she was there.

I don;t know which of her pages you are checking (I'd have to look them up again anyway), but if two of you in two different times zones check out the time of that post and it's the same time, then it WOULD be stamped her timezone (Mountain Time) and that's what everyone sees? If not, then it seems it varies by the person's timezone looking at it.

So . . . . if EJ was in SA on the 21st, but didn't check into Homegates until the 22nd, wonder where she stayed that first night . . . .

I read on the associated content article that the police have talked to a friend of the Smith who live in San Antonio. I also wonder why it was that TS was adamant that EJ travelled to Victoria and then went back to SA to board a bus. That is such a detailed statement. Why? Couldn't she have ridden there with someone else, with Baby Gabriel, and then brought back to SA?

I'm pretty sure that TPS said that EJ left AZ Friday, Dec 18th at night because she made a comment about her GPS being lit up on the dashboard. Don't know the exact time but it must have been dark. Could EJ have conceivably driven that distance in that period of time?

But, then again, I've always wondered when EJ really left Phoenix/Tempe - I guess that is because I wondered if Tammi said the whole thing about the GPS light just to be able to say she knew about the GPS.

I looked up my own question:
Tempe, Az to Van Horn, Tx
Total Travel Estimate: 7 hours 53 minutes / 549.51 miles

For EJ to make it from Tempe, Az to Van Horn, Tx in that time she would have to have left Tempe at about 5pm to 6pm. Would it have been dark at that time? Or at least dark enough to have lights on?
Ok, just checked:
Dec. 18

Twi: 6:58am
Sunrise: 7:25am
Sunset: 5:22pm
Twi: 5:49pm
Moonrise: 3:11pm
Moonset: 4:52am

Sunset at 5:22pm means that if she left at about 5:30pm she probably would have her lights on and she would have arrived in Van Horn, Tx at approx 1:30am.

We are thinking alike! It looks like if TPS was telling the truth for a change and EJ left just as it was getting dark and drove straight through she would have arrived in Van Horn, Tx at that time. I hope this tip has been called it. It looks very likely this is where she went. I hope LE has that information already, especially if they examined her GPS.

Also, it was night so there was no traffic and EJ might have been going faster then the speed limit. Looks like this is where she stopped. The question now is where did she go from here? If she drove the next day straight through she would have arrived in San Antonio on the 20th? Does LE know where she stayed on that day?

It still leaves more questions then answers. How did EJ get the CC that was used. It is curious that the address is in one state and the phone number is in another. I wish I knew the car information and if she had a baby with her. If it is EJ and she had a CC from another person, how did she get it? Was this the start of her new identity?
