I wonder if the FBI has come up with a new and unpublicized method for investigating cases of missing children.

I have a feeling that's not it, though. I think that LE has ruled out everyone else and every scenario which involves strangers, and they are left with only one person to suspect.

Perhaps the questionnaires have two foci: (1) To put pressure on the SM to confess, and (2) To make absolutely sure there is no other viable suspect and that there are no new leads to investigate.

Maybe they really have found his body and it was a slip of the tongue to add the word "alive" at the end of the statement about Terri being the last person to see Kyron...alive. ( I think it was a big "oooops").

No, I don't think LE has found him. We went through many, many scares in the Caylee case where we were all wondering if LE had found her. But, when they did find her - it was over the air waves in a matter of minutes.

I don't think LE would hold back info like that - nor do I think they could. Of course, he would have to be identified first - just like Caylee's case - even though they didn't ID her for a couple of weeks - everybody knew if had to be because of the close proximity to the house and that it was a small child's remains that had been found.

I guess it probably is not...there must be people who would know she was not in the school to take it, that Kyron was not wearing that shirt, etc...and it does seem to be in the classroom...I just don't know anymore...I am getting a migraine and I hardly ever do anymore. I don't know what to think about this case, it almost doesn't seem real to me. It sometimes feels as though we are discussing some bizarre movie plot that would never work because no one would believe it. I guess it could still have many more twists and turns in store that we have not even thought of.

I'm thinking that this case is going to take a dreadful turn real soon. The questionaire and the public appeal from LE today....What else could it be other than TM is suspect? It totally breaks my heart in two.

Can someone with broader experience/understanding/familiarity of how LE/stats play out in missing children cases explain, since there is no POI, but the flyer today explicitly asks questions about TH the day Kyron went missing, why they wouldn't be able to protect TH or assure the public (back TH up a little bit against the onslaught of suspecting minds) not to jump immediately pointing fingers? Or is this just one of the most bizarre things you've all come across?

If TH is innocent of any aspect of Kyron's missing, there has to be some serious element of trust to throw her under the bus, so to speak, in a way LE has to know implies she's implicated in this?

Does this make sense? The flyer seems o provide zero protection of a parent in a missing child case from accusations that are naturally taking place or becoming cemented.

Is there any reason you think if she's not involved they would put her in this position, I guess is the question?

To me it is pretty simple and LE said it themselves when they said that they were trying to be perfect and not make any mistakes. They are putting something out there without saying it. They can't say anything for sure yet, they have no evidence!!!! They can't make any moves...without something tangible. But they are applying pressure, and trying to ease the public as well. Pretty smooth if you ask me. They are being very careful as to not make one single mistake. They are doing their job, I hate it when i remember why......:cry::cry::cry:

Little Kyron....I really wish he wasn't the reason we are all here glued to our computers. It is so sad. I don't want to find out he is gone....i don't, i want them to find him alive somewhere somehow.

IMO there is an underlying purpose for distributing these questionaires. I do not believe that it is to gather information (or additional information) regarding who saw Terri and/or the white truck that morning/day and what time... this is not how information is collected from potential witnesses of a crime and it is certainly not the correct way to build a prosecutable case against her. This flyer questionaire campaign would never stand up in a court of law. I mean come on, talk about LE baising witnesses! My hunch is that LE is using this questionaire as a means to acquire as many handwriting samples as possible from everyone/anyone who was at the school that day to compare to a letter or a message left somewhere from the perp. MOATM ~
ETA: There's a huge difference between LE seeking or soliciting tips from the public by providing a toll-free number and an email address to submit tips versus sending out a flyer that asks questions about one specific person, including a picture of that one person.

Still catching up. I actually still don't know why there's been a mistrust of SM, and now the questionaire is pointing to her, and I can't figure out what's going on. I'll have to keep reading. The questionaire is totally bizarre, IMO.

I just keep putting myself in TH's shoes. I keep thinking IF what she said happened actually did then WHY, WHY, WHY is she not all over the TV talking in the camera. I would be shouting to the public, I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING, I LOVE MY SON and I just want him returned to his family. I wouldn't care what anyone said. Even if LE advised for me not to, I would do it in a hot minute. I'm a rather shy person, but I would do anything to get my baby back(even IF he wasn't my biological baby). I would tell them to come take me instead and give my boy back to his family.

She's the potential focus in the investigation for these reasons:

1. She is the primary caregiver of this child, whose last ride to school wasn't on a school bus but purportedly in her vehicle.

2. She is the mother in a blended family....a child from a previous marriage for her, a child from a previous marriage for her husband, and a child they've made together.

3. Her child has recently been sent to live with her parents.

4. His child has an energy-sucking project due to present at school and she has that responsibility to make sure it's set up and he's prepared.

5. We know nothing other than what we've been told: She was the last one to see Kyron ALIVE. That leaves us to conclude that after she saw him alive, he was no longer alive. I choose not to fall into that solipsism. What we know is not what LE knows. There is a piece missing here, and it is in LE's grasp, and I'm comfortable with it being there instead of in our hands.

6. This case is "isolated" and other children are not "at risk" leaving one to conclude safely that this is a familiar person who has done this. Is it Terri? I don't know. What I DO know is that LE cannot make an outright accusation without proof, and in this instance, they are going about 'proof-gathering' in a way that baffles.

7. The truck/Mustang Kaine owns/Terri owns thing.....is bothersome. What does it mean? Does the flier which states Terri drove the that morning state the truth? Does that mean that's what Terri says and it doesn't match the evidence they speak of? Did she really drive the Mustang and says she drove the truck? To what end would she do that????


All of these questions, and so many more, are the reasons I see that they have her as the focus of the potential focus of an investigation.

-the project required HIM to print or use computer
-cut and paste
-he had to use his OWN words to explain things
-build a structure

I was ANGRY.
1. My son can NOT read at the time (so much for HIM researching)
2. My son at the time hade very very bad printing/spacing ... non-legible
3. I have a computer - but- no printer
4. Build a structure when the child can even draw basic shapes!!

So, I wrote a note to the teacher and told her I have graduated already, there is no need to grade MY work and that I will not be HELPING my son do a project until he can READ and WRITE!

IF I would have completed MY homework, I am SURE I would have been PO's the whole time I was doing it ... I have better things to do.

Because frankly, and no offense to anyone intended here.....she does that and people will be on her like stink on a monkey analyzing her every eyelash. She's in a no-win situation right now. Better to be damned over speculation of what you're NOT doing, than being damned for what you're not doing in front of people who have a million expectations of what you should do and someone's got a check list to make sure they can point out later how many things you didn't hit on.

Plus, if they had rec'd a ransom note I think some of their comments at these pressers would have been way different. I could be wrong of course but I haven't heard them say anything at all that would make me think he somewhere being held by an unknown abductor for ransom.
