Makes child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. Could his neighbor(s) have been allowing him to take lewd photos of this child (in exchange for money or drugs), and something went terribly wrong, now they can't admit it because THEY would be in serious trouble?

Why would this guy do anything to violate his probation knowing how thick this area is with law enforcement and media?? Suspicious.

Exactly my point. This guy knows he lives .5 miles from where Haleigh went missing..and I'm sure he's seen both in the area and on the news about this case..he picked a really bad time to violate probation.

Good. Guess when LE went looking into some of the RSO while investigating the Haleigh case they found this a$$wipe doing something that he was not suppose to be doing so they re-arrested him. Can't tell what it was but that is one less loose.
Personally I don't think anyone one of that is a preditor should be let out of jail ever again.
We need to start putting these people down just like rabid dogs is what I really think but I don't get to make the rules.

I am probably one of the most anti-violence people out there, but i couldn't agree more shadow. As far as this Scum Bag, glad they arrested him. Lost an Entire night of sleep over him and the other Dirt Bag that first night. This is a bad dude...

Praying they find Haleigh soon.

Isn't there a rocky island in a cold and windy region of the country that these twisted people could be sent to and not released from? It's going to have to be a big island because there are more and more of them being discovered around the world lately. It better be a cold and rocky island though. No trees.

Why should we feed and clothe them? I say whack 'em, and stack 'em, there is no redemption in these people.

Are they having a round up of sex offenders violating probation this afternoon in Putnam or what?

It says they arrested him in Palatka but last known address was San Mateo? hmmm, he wasnt where he was supposed to be either. Now the other SO has a cell mate with something in common they are both 🤬🤬🤬's.

Interesting....how far is this from Satsuma?

Actually, that's if your taking the road. If you go across the river where they where searching in the first place, Palatka is right there.

I don't know if he is involved or not but, when I saw his picture the first time, my blood ran cold.

LOL spoken like a true Cajun! (I have a Cajun friend.)

I say put'em on an island somewhere (Alcatraz?) and leave them there to fend for themselves. I don't owe them anything. Let their families pay to feed and clothe them - not our tax dollars.

I wrote in another thread they all need to be casterated, microchipped and put on a desserted island. They can grow their own vegetation to feed themselves and build their own huts etc etc..

No T.V, No Computer, No little kids to hurt etc etc.. Boy that would save our children and our tax dollars

Maybe LE is making sure they are doing their job concerning these POSs. It wouldn't look very good when there is a known missing child a mile away and the SOs are out running around flaunting the fact they are doing anything illegally.

When the girl was murdered in Madison, WI, they rounded up not only the SOs, but all the homeless in the area!

Off Topic: I say take them all to Iraq, give them one bullet, and drop 'em in the middle of a "hot zone". If they make it out alive...send them to Afghanistan and redrop them.

Well, I don't want to stand up for sex offenders, but many studies show that some sex offenders are treatable (but, of course, not all). For example, meta-analysis of sex offenders on cognitive-behavioral treatments showed 19% recidivism rate for treated offenders and 37% for untreated offenders. Even with that difference, this shows that the majority do not re-offend (the follow up period was from 12-16 years from first offense). This was done by Hall and can be found in the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology (1995). There are also hormonal treatments that seem very effective for some (with recidivism rates as low as 1% in some studies). Still, we as a society may not be comfortable with any kind of recidivism rate for these offenders.

Luckily for this case, LE believes this guy had nothing to do with missing Haleigh. Let's hope she's found alive and unharmed soon!

[I should add that SO does not mean child molester in the study mentioned. It's any kind of SO-- from rape and sexual battery to child molestation to statutory rape. That's a pretty broad swath.]

Sort of like the dirty dozen (remember that movie?)

We'll call them the squirelly dozen or the 🤬🤬🤬 dozen.

I like this Bree. I am also a cajun but living in Atlanta for many years. I tried to approach a simplistic approach to the economy on the political forum and this is in keeping with that simplistic approach. Why do we make it so complicated? If they want to live, give them seeds, if they want stimulation give them a hoe. No reason that our taxpayer dollars should encourage them, enable them or make their lives more viable than our own. Period. Let them work for their food and their existence.

I saw something today that was heartbreaking. I went to pick up my geriatric client from the psych ward (along with her son). I saw a 12-13 year old child just crying buckets because he didn't want to be there. His family was so distraught. It broke my heart. This is living in hell for that child as he is not in control of what brought him there. Think of the many victims of child abuse (who live) that go through the same types of torture.

The victims of abuse have a lifetime of illness. No matter how strong they are the symptoms seep through and scar. The mental health system in this country is not that great or even on par (my experience) but somehow victims come about (not all) and live to tell.Shasta Groene is a perfect example of the extremely strong but not all are that lucky. I pray for her every day that she can remain strong.

Unfortunately some of the 19% and 37% you refer to, dont want to go back to jail again so they rape and then kill poor innocent children. I also wonder if those numbers are based on a study of the sex offenders that they can find? What about the ones on the lam that are not accounted for? I'd like a recount after they find them.
