This conversation is done anyhow. Dave has already admitted that he and I guess all RDI's know more about this case than the people who are investigating it. That says it all.

Why thank you. I do, actually, know more about this case than the people investigating it. Considering the investigation, that isn't hard to do. And I venture to say that most of us here know more than the people investigating the case.

Well, I'm a bit conflicted, DD. On the one hand, yeah, I would agree with that. But, in the interest of fairness, let's talk specifics here.

I certainly feel that we know more than Mary Lacy did. Way I see it, my DOG knows more about the case than she did. Michael Kane said he didn't think she even took time to read the case file, so it's not just US saying this.

As for this new crowd, I don't know. That's why I said I was "willing to bet." It's a gamble. I'm not 100% I don't know much about this new man.

Roy, is the "fantasy" you are referring to concerning some folks' theory that JR had molested his daughter? If this is what you are talking about, then please know that it is not a standard RDI theory. I do believe that someone had been molesting her and it very well could have been the catalyst that started everything that night. I'm not so sure it was her dad though. IMO there are at least three others who were much more likely to have been molesting her. Molesting and incest are two VERY ugly words and I firmly believe that both these could ultimately tell the sad story of what happened. I believe the whole thing is a lot more simple than anyone realizes. It's all the lies and covering that turned this into the huge mystery it is today. I guess we could even substitue the words "touching", "fooling around", or "playing" for that one pesky "molesting" and still have the same meaning. Some mothers under the amount of stress that this one was would absolutely go nuts if they caught or even found out about someone touching their 6 yo daughter this way. Good gosh, I know one personally who tried to kill a man for touching her 4 yo son and she didn't have cancer or any of the other stressors this mother had. I know we cannot imagine how anyone else would react unless we are in their shoes but we also cannot know for certain how they won't react either.

Thus my comments about RDI's not reading very well. And of course Becky is now throwing all of that in my face as well. I will come back around here from time to time but we are getting nowhere here. You guys have stated that you know more than the investigator's and have tried to make your own meanings to Mark Beckner's statements.

Number two, given his history with this case and the context of his comments, no one here is trying to "make our own meanings" out of Chief Beckner's statement. Our interpretations are NO LESS VALID than yours. Interpretations which some IDIs tend to share, BTW.

Hi folks! I kinda new here but I appreciate all of everyone's insightful info. I was only 13 yrs old when JB was murdered. And even back then my first thought was the parent's did it. After I found this forum I became more interested in this case and this was about the same time as AJ was going to air her special. Well MHO was it sucked and that's putting it nicely. It was so obvious she was pro Ramsey.

I value everyone's opinion because everyone is entitled to that and as American's we have that right. Sicne I have had more time to review this case I feel like I am kinda in between RDI and IDI. There are times when I read something and I think the R's are guilty but then there are other times I discover new info that I knew nothing about I feel as though there was an intruder. I never knew about the hitech shoe print until reading that here. Then to find out BR had those exacts shoes hmmm..... I feel as though that was no coincidence. I also feel as though everything happens for a reason and I pray that before I leave this world the killer(s) will be brought to justice.

Now that I am a mother myself I could never fathom that my child was murdered and people were blaming me and I knew I was innocent. You can bet your bottom dollar I would do any and everything to clear my name and help LE find the right killer(s). IMO the R's never did this. I know they went on LK but I only saw that as put on and showing off. After reading here earlier today and saw people were reccommending books I went to the libaray and checked out the book by the lead det. on this case. I appreciate everyone's opinions and I hope one day justice will be found for JB.

Remember that much of what IDI has put out there is based on falsehoods- like a pubic hair found (Never happened- NO pubic hair was found- it was PROVEN to be a hair from the forearm of Patsy). A lot the misconceptions are perpetuated in the media, and corrections are rarely printed or publicized. AJ's special contained many such "misconceptions" and a few outright lies as well. Read some books- there are several good ones. Read ACR for a wealth of resource material, including photos.

Okay Dave. I will bite for a bit on your peace offering and will take it a piece at a time. I know how this ends I am afraid but in the spirit of at least truly understanding each other completely, lets rock. The conversation the other day on the FBI you thought you knew who I was referring to. Trust me it is not the same people. You could have an FBI agent or someone from another intelligence agency living next door and not know.

And I also believe Mary Lacey knows more on this case than anyone here combined. And she may know less than anyone that ever investigated the case. Just my opinion. I can pretty much tell you tons more is known about this case than any of the inforation on this site at the time. But I can't and won't try and prove that.

I respect your passion. I really do. And I really have no real reason to be here. You won't believe it but it is really to help you guys and make you quit living in the past. I know things are really quiet on the Boulder front. But they absolutely have to make it look that way. And in the same respect, who even knows who even is watching and reading here.
