Good morning from sunny Cape Town, where Shrien Dewani's murder trial is about to begin, almost 4 years after his wife Anni's death.

A more genteel, sedate atmosphere here at Cape Town's High Court compared with the crowds and scrums at the Pistorius trial in Pretoria.

And now we take our seats in an ornate, wood panelled courtroom for #dewanitrial. No sign yet of accused.

Contrasts with Pistorius trial inevitable. First point - the Judge here is expected to be far more interventionist. #dewanitrial

Main task ahead for defence lawyer Francois van Zyl - to attack credibility of state's key witness, convicted murderer - driver Zola Tongo.

#dewanitrial lawyer van Zyl has formidable reputation for cross-examinations. Looks like cross between Dick Cheney and Leslie Nielsen...
