Qwabe says as the vehicle approached them, it stopped; his accused (Watti) was pointing a gun at the driver. Qwabe got into the driver's seat, Watti got into the passenger's seat and Zola got in at the back left hand side.

MQ: There was commotion in the car, Dewanis told to be quiet, not try anything.

MQ says they stopped near a police barracks and ordered Tongo out of the car.

I turned right into NY1, direction Montana, approached Modderdam Road turnoff - MQ

I took the N2, direction Khayelitsha, then Baden Powell turnoff. I drove through Kuyasa & eNkanini. I stopped the vehicle and asked the husband to get out of the car. Harare was on my right & Kuyasa on my left. Don't recall his reaction or if there was resistance.

I was between Ilitha Park and Nlovini, I heard a gunshot and got a shock. I took my first turnoff and pulled over, says MQ. He then stopped the vehicle. I asked Watti what he'd done. He said he shot the lady

Seems Dewani is having trouble hearing the testimony. So still sound problems in court then.

I pulled over. Watti said he was looking for the bullet casing. I got out of the car, opened the door, had a look and found it. It was on the floor, at the back. - MQ

I later threw bullet casing in a storm water drain. And also threw my gloves away - MQ

We counted the money. It was R10 000. He took out another stack. Said he got it from the husband. About R4000

R15000 was supposed to be in the pouch. We went back to C-Section. I went home, then went out

The next day, Watti came to my house. Called Monde & told him the money was short

I was expecting R15000. The 1st batch was R10000 (from the pouch). The R4000 was taken from the husband

Watti came and dropped the firearm. He asked about the phones

I had no contact with Zola after the Saturday

I might have had contact with Monde after the Sunday, to find out about the money

I was arrested the Thursday, after the Saturday. There was a match on tv. It had just finished, when police came

I was taken to Bellville. I was asked questions. I tried to deny it

He said "yes" and decided to co-operate with the police. Assisted the police to recover the firearm

Then, the morning, I gave them my statement and the next day, I did the pointing out (of the crime scenes)
