The money to be paid: One would expect that how much was to be paid would be rather important to Tongo, He says he was offered R5000. He cannot say when the offer was made, Friday or Saturday. My learned friend says his memory could fade after four years. The fact of the matter remains, in his statement, he made no mention of R5000.


(how about the state checks Dewani's memory on the stand. Dewani made no mention of the R10 000!!)

Imo it will be shame if husband accused will be acquitted.
He doesn't seem clueless to me. Likely they got married for wrong reasons in first place. (Hubby's sexual orientation is also a big questin mark )

In India arranged marriages rather common, although nobody admits it. (In this case couple involved were immigrants, but cultural - may be religious dogmas - still apply) Shame and honor is a big deal.
Very unfortunate for young woman gotten involved with him.

I agree so much FA! There was a lot at stake for Shrien Dewani, I doubt the Judge has looked into it, unfortunately.

Anni was doomed from the moment she met this man!! Grrrrr JMO
