I'm reading the HoA, I'm trying to figure out the whole pool incident and why Defence keeps harping on about it.

LOL it's getting nowhere fast. I don't see anything significant about the Defence's heads of argument. Not swaying me one iota. It's all just everyone is a liar except Dewani.

Really? I see numerous inconsistencies, several contradictions, multiple improbabilities, and three convicted criminals with history of lying under oath and giving a story to shave years of this sentence.
Compare that with Dewani being a little bit tight with his money, and bisexual tendencies. It's not exactly a watertight state case!

At 9.52 am Dewani texts Tongo about going to the money changer.

The discrepancy that the DT have picked up on was Tongo saying Dewani called him later in the morning when he and Anni were at the pool, that Tongo was late. Imo, Tongo has confused it with the other time Dewani rang him to ask where he was. A silly mistake but doesn't prove anything, Tongo took Dewani to the money changer as planned. JMO

Yes, she was quite a beauty. Just so sad what this man had brought her to, left her to die and he had not a scratch on him. Mr Perfect never thought his plan would come unraveled.

According to a source at the Valkenberg psychiatric hospital, where he has been held since his extradition to Cape Town in April, 34 year-old Dewani 'is on top of the world' at the prospect of going home a free man.
'He's very happy. He is in good spirits. He is on top of the world. And that's not because of medication because he isn't on any.

That pesky PTSD seems to have been ''cured''.

On the other hand, it would prima facie seem as if #DewaniTrial delaying tactics worked, time fades memory, it's a reasonable explanation?

I wonder what medication Tongo is on and what kind of illness does he have, anyone know?

So the texts exchanged in the car between Dewani and Tongo at 10.42 pm was about the money and if Dewani had it. So where did Dewani think the pilot was going to be, on the side of road in Gugs after 11pm at night? why didn't he ask where the pilot was and what company he worked for/owned?

Tongo and Dewani both deleted their texts immediately, then Tongo texted Qwabe, and 15 minutes later they were hijacked. Dewani did not tell the police of the money or the helicopter flight. If I were robbed, the first thing I would remember is the cash.

I just hope the PT can get this across to the Judge.

And why did Dewani never suspect Tongo? Why was he so friendly towards him and arranged a private meeting without the knowledge of Mr Hindocha who was sitting in the foyer, and gave him cash in a plastic bag? Why call Tongo an hour and half later? Dewani should take the stand and answer these questions.

Yes, I thought so too. I hope she is as agreeable with the PT when they're up, they have some good points and it would be nice to see she is fair.

Also, if this trial continues, we'll be hearing the DT HoA all over again with added pages, :facepalm:
