Infuriating! This Tongo testimony is all a matter of court record! Why why why does the judge need to read it all out again?

It seems like SA judicial system requires judge to prove they have heard and understood all testimony, by recounting it, almost word-for-word? It's so odd.

I'm sorry I am not posting exactly what judge is saying, but it is all just a recounting of all the testimony by Tongo we heard and posted about during the trial. I hope she is not going to go through all the detective's evidence etc as well.

Even as Judge is retelling the tale it is clear to me that SD set up Tongo (wouldn't meet him due to journalists being outside the hotel)

T:Mr T was adamant 9in court) that what tempted him into this crime was not 5k but promise of business advancement....but not mentioned in original statement...it is indeed strange
