Adv G: I was only referring to K1- the first column only i am trying to get to exhibits not admitted expressly by counsel

Adv G: according to para 3 exhibits 17 and 18 are not admitted

Judge Desai she is only stating what is in dispute and when she leads it will be on the actual document

Adv B: no we are saying that this witness allocated particular numbers to particular swabs not listed in K1 - by referring witness to report compiled with column 1 exhibit description - that is the part we did not admit.

Adv B: if he wants to testify on the numbers he allocated then he can't use this form

Its a sealed kit- I describe the swab and then I fill in this page with detail of swab and then I seal it

Adv G: so specimens are placed inside the sealed box- H correct

Adv G: refers to specimens on form and asks H to tell the court where he collected those specimens

H is now reading out swab numbers and referring to points where they were collected - points are numbered so not describing places

Adv G: there is a small ruler on photos - H we use these most often photos of shoe prints in blood, blood splatter

Ex 18 is the swab in its box, I wanted to show I took that swab from that specific evidence

How do u distinguish between swab 1 or 2 in 17 or 18? E: swab 1 is 17 as reference is possible blood on floor btw

living room and lounge. Swab 2 - possible blood on floor in lounge next to the tv which means its number 18

E: in each time I will give a description like that of the place where I took the specimen

H is just admitting swabs into evidence and confirming that he placed each one in their respective sealed kits and described them to determine which specimen is which, we refer to the last 4 numbers which will differ from specimen to specimen

If there is suspected blood, there is a kit which we use. I open it personally; use one swab per sample and note where it was collected. I fill in the page on the kit and it is sealed.

H: swab 1 is presumable blood from cabinet in passage

This isn't exciting evidence, the state needs the witness to identify each and every swab and where it was taken and how numbered

Only once this process is done and these swabs are read into evidence before court will we hear evidence of the results.

It would have been spattered with loads of blood and obvious to see if it had been wiped or washed clean, IMO.

I searched google map for 12 Goske St and 10 Allemann St. - distance 550 metres, it's a 7 min walk

(not that far away really, maybe it's to do with pings from tower)
