Adv B: says that he will deal with this is cross-examination. Botha upset about leading questions but this evidence is tedious

It is difficult for Advocate Galloway not to lead this witness to a certain extent, but B is right, she is leading

This was the scene where I collected the most blood samples in comparison to other scenes. We were busy for three weeks at that scene.

Do we know if the bedroom was carpeted?

The master bedroom has wooden flooring with a rug on either side of the bed. I've never seen a pic of the boys' bedroom but all the bedrooms would presumably have wooden flooring as per the master. There may be rugs in the boys' bedroom. Downstairs there are large format tiles. Small rugs are used in a number of areas.

Media should have applied to have this trial televised much earlier. The ruling is going to come in too late to be of any use.

I think it will be denied as the State's case is getting close to the end and it will be perceived as being unfair if only the defence is televised. This is what Leach J said, and as much as I want to see it, I think that would be a fair decision in this case.

I must say he looked recently showered in that picture in the ambulance, apart from his few blood drips the rest of his skin had a fresh pink glow about it.
