“They wanted to search his bag and when he resisted they started pushing him against the wall,” said Botha. “One inmate grabbed him by the throat and another stomped on his foot. A struggle ensued.

“Henri escaped with a few scratches and bruises on his body and an injured foot. He was treated that day by a nurse and seen by a Pollsmoor doctor the next day who confirmed that Henri’s foot was not broken."

I just watched a numerology video about HvB, not that I know anything at all about numerology but I thought it might be fun. The reader said she doesn't see him being released before the age of 86. He's now 23 I think, which calculates to a sentence of 63 years. Let's see if there's anything to it!

Years ago, I played around with Numerology, and enjoyed my findings. ;)
Great, if he isn't released until 86.
Hope there are many 'interesting' events for him while 'locked up'.:D:D

Henri van Breda prison attack: Conflicting claims emerge

DCS spokesperson Simphiwe Xako denied these claims on Thursday.

"Henri did not try to commit suicide. He is as tranquil as a baby. I have asked all of my officials and they say he is fine," he told News24.

"As tranquil as a baby." What a ridiculous thing to say about a guy experiencing the horrors of prison life for the first time in his life. Even if he is in the hospital section, he's still under an enormous load of stress. The more so as he's no doubt fearing a potentially very long sentence.

They can argue semantics as long as they like, but he was not a boy, he was a man, who murdered the people who loved him to get their money. Money which he had not earned. It was not done in a fit of rage because he was angry at one person. He is a complete sociopath.

They look so happy that their brother and his family was murdered. Are they waiting for the cut of the profit from Henri?

I don't know anything about SA inheritance laws but surely they wouldn't allow a convicted murderer any inheritance monies from the estate of the people he murdered.

Andre van Breda, Henri’s uncle, speaks to Prosecutor Susan Galloway and defence advocate Pieter Botha. Andre’s twin brother Bailey is also here today. They are Martin’s brothers.

I meant if he got off by their support of him.

Correct. He can't inherit.

I wonder what mitigating factors there could be? It's too late now for them to say his father was always very hard on him, nothing Henri did was ever good enough, his father was picking on him that night and he just snapped and went crazy and would now give anything to undo it. Too late for that. Too late for "the voices made me do it."

Maybe he has a psychologist's report saying his prospects of rehabilitation are good.
