I agree...not only would I want to see the outfit from different angles, I would want to see how it was when she was asked to get off the plane. The pictures we have seen and the interview were how the outfit looked AFTER she was allowed to reboard. Of course it's ok.

If her shirt was rolled up under her breasts allowing the bottom part of her "melons" (ala "Pamela Anderson") to show and the skirt was rolled down at the top and hiked up at the same time (ala "Britney"), I would appreciate the steward having her rearrange her outfit to make it appropriate for a public place, during the day.

For the record, I fly SWA alot...and have NEVER had a rude or condescending stewardess. I have always felt that my family and I were treated with respect, as were my fellow passengers.
Even if she was rolling up and pulling down the clothing she had MORE on than you see at any swimming pool or beach. Flashing her undies - so what? You see more at the pool. This is silly and the airlines are not fashion police or morality monitors. I personally am more offended by some hairy guys butt crack and pants barely hanging on by a thread - and I don't see Southwest pulling THEM off airplanes.

I do not go to Hooters, and "Gentlemen's Clubs" disgust me but I don't object to either of them. I find thong bikinis on women and speedos on men awful ugggh - I think I'd rather see them naked. I don't object to well mannered nudity though - topless beaches, nude beaches, clothing optional hot springs are all fine with me - I am mature enough not to be offended by the human body displayed in a non-sexual, matter of fact way.

Girls and women who dress in a provocative manner all the time have issues - but banning their clothing is not going to fix anything. In fact, the MORE hung up we all are about it and the more we point, huff and sigh in disgust, the MORE they will show. If we didn't brand Hooters as sexual and "bad" no-one would go there. If nudity was more accepted, mens clubs, Hooters and other such "entertainments" would lose their appeal quickly - why pay to see something that you see every day?

The whole thing is all based on it being somehow "forbidden" and risky and exciting. They WANT people to look. If it didn't make anyone look twice, the same people would put on MORE clothes in an effort to be rebellious and different and make people stare and point. By talking about it and objecting and making a big deal - we are giving the people who's attire offends MORE incentive to be even more scandalous and revealing. They THRIVE not on being nearly naked in public, BUT on being the center of attention and showing off.

My Opinion

The guy with the "butt crack" isn't doing it intentionally though. If SW isn't telling these guys to pull up their pants maybe it's because no one is complaining. This girl's attire was the subject of a complaint from a passenger.

Swimming pool/beach and an Airplane? Apples and oranges imo.

Great points! When I go to the swimming pool or beach, I expect people to be dressed appropriately, (ie in bikinis, trunks, etc.) for that location. I purposely avoid nude beaches or events such as "Girls Gone Wild" so as not to be offended nor have my children exposed to graphic sexuality inappropriate with their ages.

When I am in a public place, such as a restaurant or on an airplane, I have a reasonable expectation that grown adults will have enough sense and respect for the general population to keep their privates...well, private.

In my opinion this girl is just looking for attention and is desperately seeking her 15 minutes of fame. After taking a closer look at her (at first I thought she was quite lovely and great bod) I realized she has a "hard" look about her. I predict the remaining 13 minutes of fame will be in a Penthouse spread, or some other ragmag catering to lowerbrow constituents than the typical "gentlemen's magazine".

She flew into AZ for a doctors appt and was flying right back to CA...She was so traumatized by the whole thing she got right back on the plane wearing the same outfit....LOL

Exactly. I'm waiting for the pic's or video's from the people on the plane that saw this happen to come out. She either reached up or bent down for some reason and that's what started all this.

Now that we know what kind of a girl she is, all we have to do is negotiate a price. Ad-libbing an old joke. I expect a skin mag will be making a bid; it always works that way. She'll have to forego portraying a candidate for the nunnery

I agree. Not a pretty face at all. IMO, it looks like this girl's been rode hard and put away wet. I've got 20 years on her and she has twice the bags!

To my knowledge, SW Airlines, in their comment on this story, did not say anything about her genitalia or privates showing. That is just being assumed.

She does look much older than the age she states.

I have noticed that to happen somewhat frequently in San Diego. I think it's because sometimes girls spend a lot of time in the sun without sunscreen when they are younger.

Actually, there was no complaint from a passenger...only the flight attendant.

She was on Geraldo wearing the outfit and frankly...it looked fine to me. Nothing too revealing about it at all...except it made her tan look fabulous.

They also showed an old advertisement for Southwest Airlines with a "flight attendant" wearing a MUCH SHORTER skirt!!! She was standing on the tarmac and the plane flew over her. It could not have BEEN shorter! So I would say...SW just messed up bigtime! Not only do they not HAVE a dress code...now they have the problem of explaining their commercial touting their very own minidress wearing sexy stewardess, too!

I would also not support my daughter working at an establishment where the environment is so sexualized. I don't think it's emotionally (and sometimes physically) healthy for impressionable young women to have more attention paid to their sexiness than their intellect and personality.

Best post of the day!!!!
