I want to inform you about a strange disappearance that occurred in Seville (Spain) on Thursday, 12 October 2023.
It's about Álvaro Prieto, an 18-year-old boy. Let me tell you a little bit about it:
He is a boy from Córdoba who went out partying in Seville with a friend. Álvaro had to take the train back home.
After leaving the nightclub, both friends separated (according to the friend at 7:25) and Álvaro went to the station, the Santa Justa station. The train was leaving at 7:35. During the journey, he sent a message to his father saying that he was on his way. When he arrived at the station, he saw that he had missed the train and then decided to sneak into another one (one that was headed for Barcelona but also stopped in Córdoba).
He was broke and according to his family, he sent a message saying that his phone battery was running low.
The thing is, he was caught by the ticket inspectors and kicked off the train. They have checked the security cameras and they see the boy leaving the station (9:30). Some witnesses saw him later on Avenida Kansas City. That avenue connects to the highway towards Córdoba. That's the last time he was seen.
This happened on Thursday, and many days have passed without any news. Now come my doubts and hypothesis:
What could have happened? I beg for all the help possible. Any questions will be answered with the information we have.
Some news about the case (in Spanish, sorry)
El último whatsapp de Álvaro Prieto a sus padres (7.22 horas): «Voy para la parada»

- He leaves the station at 9:30 and they see him around 10. It's true that October 12 is a holiday in Spain, but by that time, people are usually out on the streets, and some bars are open. It's most likely that he would have gone to a bar to ask someone to let him make a call or charge his phone. So I don't understand why he didn't ask for help.
- There could be a hypothesis that he was drunk and might have fallen somewhere, but witnesses said they saw him fine, with his clothes a bit dirty but okay. There are others who say he might have walked back to the nightclub so as not to disturb his parents, but walking 100km is unlikely. It could also be that he walked back to the nightclub since it's the only route he knows and has just taken (it takes 45 minutes).
- Another theory is that he hitchhiked and got into a stranger's car. I would rule out an Uber or getting on a bus because he didn't have money.
What could have happened? I beg for all the help possible. Any questions will be answered with the information we have.
