It's quite logical what you say, but as has been discussed earlier on the thread and by the police, due to weather and shift in snow, Esther's body could have moved quite significantly during the months since last November. Snow, ice, lammergeiers are all present - plus very steep terrain, and scree everywhere. The snow-cover was apparently the initial problem in not locating her body. Or the stated one.
