I was bullied as a child and it still bothers me to this day, many many years later. When the bully is the teacher it is just outragous. A grown woman abusing her position of power on a 5 year old. I can't believe she is still in the classroom, what is wrong with these people? She doesn't belong anywhere near children. Did that make her feel good to humiliate that child in that way? Oh, and what a great example she is to other children! :furious:
From internet googling, it seems there are quite a few people emailing her AND the school. :woohoo: Let's get her voted off the planet!
P.S. The whole "special needs" thing is really bothering me. I don't know if the mom felt that she had to let that info out, but that really doesn't have anything to do with this situation. I feel sorry for this little boy who will have this hanging over his head (special needs) for quite a while when he shouldn't have to.
If the school let that info out, then they should be charged w/releasing private info. If the mom did it, she probably just didn't know any better.

i think special needs factors in for the child because it explains why he has issues making friends. i think she wants to point out her son is not a bad child and does not deserve this treatment. his behavior problems are due to his condition not to willful misbehavior. i understand the mothers desire to explain why the children may dislike her son but the issue for me is the teachers behavior. i do not care if every child in class hates the kid the teacher was just wrong and cruel.P.S. and you are 100% right. the "special needs" is another angel that gets the story out but honestly if a teacher treats any 5 year old like this she needs her arse kicked. Not that it really matters, but he apparently is still undergoing tests if what the media is reporting is correct. Has he been dx'd as special needs? I don't need to know that, frankly. My whole point is that what the teacher did was wrong whether it was to a special needs child or not. That's all I'm saying.
