While I agree it does smack of Bobby Cutts, this is more along the lines of Craig Stebic, imo. I just hope they don't run into a standstill as they have trying to get Stebic to give up where Lisa is. However, it seems this case is unraveling much quicker.

Great interview with the sister this morning! She brought out that on Friday, Stacey definitely feared for her life going to the extreme of texting her sister to let her know she was OK all day Saturday. This doesn't leave any doubt that on Sunday something did happen to her instead of her walking away.

I think so many of the domestic disappearances seem the same. Many of the husbands/partners seem so genuinely suprised that anyone would pay attention to the fact that their wife/partner would disappear! And of course they are all shocked that anyone would think that they could have anything to do with it! And most generally it is "her" fault of course!

Ahhh Theresa Parker from GA....married to Sgt.? Sam Parker. His buddy Chapin was arrested for lying in the course of an investigation. Yep, hubby (was soon to be ex hubby) had a small amount of C4 in his locker at the police station.

That's what has my hackles up ... his quotes about her being nuts, her family being nuts, boyfriends, medications, can't handle kids ... she's where she wants to be. He's working overtime to make sure everyone knows it's her fault.

I've been following the Darren Mack case and he's the same way. His wife was nuts (he wasn't) and he had to defend himself from her (which in turn made him nuts and he had to shoot a judge) but it wasn't his fault, it was his nutty wife's fault.

Did I read that Stacy is his fourth wife? I know the third is dead, but have we heard anything about or from the first two?

Anytime a spouse/partner starts talking about how nuts the other one is/was- I start wondering about what the one who is doing the talking has done. "The other one is nuts" always raises my suspicions

Sometime this am I saw a statement from the sister in which she said that Stacy was beginning to have suspicions about the third wife's death, but now I can't find it!

A little more info from the sister:
The Petersons lived just up the street from where the third wife died. And Drew told the sister he found the car at the airport.

I had read that they lived close by. Can you imagine how painful that was? Your husband leaves you for a younger woman and moves down the block!

Oddly enough, not yet. I have been curious as to their thoughts on this. Of course, I am betting they would not have a nice thing to say about him.

They just said on Fox that Drew's 26yo old son came and got the 3 children then the oldest went to school. They noted he is also apoliceman. At least, the kids are going to be away from this and with their half-brother.

Peterson said that Stacey called him on Sunday on 9PM on his cell and told him that she was leaving him for her boyfriend. Just check the cell phone records and show that he is lying. Also check her computer for e-mail messages from this so-called boyfriend.

Of course, when none of this is true he might be named a suspect.

I wonder if police or family have had a chance to talk with the kids? Most likely he hasn't allowed it.

They are calling him a suspect today.

It goes to show how vindictive this man is. Another man would have moved to the other side of town and have tried to make it less painful for her...especially since she agreed to give him a fast divorce to marry his pregnant girlfriend! Her sister said last night, she felt sorry for Stacey because of the baby so she put off the property settlement and gave him the divorce.

He is a 🤬🤬🤬 and always has been! :furious:

WAY WAY WAY TOO LATE!

But, it sounds like she was pretty suspicious too ... as she changed her life insurance to the boys. The timing of her death should have sent red flags, the divorce was final, but they hadn't finished the property settlement.

She was definitely worried according to her sister and stated she feared for her life. Her sister made no bones about it in the interview and never believed it was an accidental death.

I saw a quote on another board from a news report where her sister talked to the kids and one of them said that Stacy and Dad got into a fight that morning. I haven't found quote reported in a news article yet.

This guy is guilty! I can't believe he got away with the first murder - a 40 year old healthy woman drowning in a bathtub??? Come on!
It is very possible if she had wine, sedatives, dropped off..it only takes a small amount of water to "Drown"...less than two tablespoons I believe in the lungs. I think it's fishy but it happens.

I wonder if they did a tox report during her autopsy?

I know last night (Greta) I heard her sister say that she didn't have anything in her body. That led me to think they must have checked for toxins. (I could be wrong though as the sister wasn't very clear about all that.)

She also said they (don't know who they is) told her that her sister tried to breathe because of what they found in the lungs. She didn't explain it well, but it sounded like there was water where it normally wouldn't be in her lungs.

Gee, that would certainly perk my interest as a coroner!

Most troubling of all the cases are the men who are in LE! You would think they would be smarter than the normal abuser/killer. It doesn't seem to matter! Their egos still overload their actions and they follow the same cues.

Blaming someone else is a lifelong trait for these men and they can't take responsibility for "getting rid" of their spouse. It is the "She made me do it" syndrome. According to Drew...(lol)..."She is where she wants to be" speaks volumes. He probably gave her a choice. Die or do what he wants her to do. She chose neither so he chose for her. In his mind, it was "her choice".
