This is part of an article in our local paper on Thursday, I'm sorry if this has been posted previously, but I didn't see it.

Peterson was indicted by a grand jury and fired from his job with the Bolingbrook department after allegations arose that he was trading secrets about his undercover narcotics unit to a drug dealer in exchange for drugs.

The charges later were dropped and Peterson got his job back.

The way he tells the story, it was the case of a prosecutor having it in for him.

"He shotgunned me," Peterson said.

A special prosecutor appointed to the case dropped the charges, saying the case was unprovable.

Confronted with this, Drew Peterson is quick to admit his life was interesting long before Stacy showed up in it.

"I had drama before Stacy, and Stacy just added to it," he said. "I believe, like I tell everyone, she's not missing. She's gone on her own. And it's not by (anything) that I did."

I hope the state LE followed him today! Seems he took off, still masked like a bandit, on his motorcycle.

Also there is now a reward and a search planned for tomorrow:

The Peterson family now has put up a $20,000 reward for information that leads to a resolution in the case.
Family and friends have organized a search party of the DuPage River Greenway in a spot she was known to frequent, a walking area, a path and dog walk near here between Royce Road and Illinois Route 53. That search starts Saturday morning at 10 a.m. Searchers are asked to gather at the Royce Road entrance to that pathway.

It is like I mentioned before about how he never will take responsibility for anything! Always someone else's fault. This is a definite character flaw and a standard precurser in an abuser/killer.

According to Drew he did say that she was where she wanted to be. I guess it is a good idea to search there.

Yesterday, in a vid somewhere, Drew's best friend talks about how Drew is handling the situation. He looks very shady, IMO. He was wearing some long dark coat get-up and white tennis shoes. Then I realized he was the guy who was talking over the backyard fence to LE. Now I'm really curious about this guy because of the two cars being gone and then showing back up.

I had a thought about the cars. Drew plants one at the airport then runs/walks back to the house and leaves in the other car with Stacey. He returns back to the house and changes his mind about the car left at the airport and runs back to get it. Why? I don't know. But it could explain Drew being out of breath. That's the only thing I can think of that would not require two people driving two cars.

SS, Isn't that bandana disguise the most rediculous thing you've seen? Why is he hiding his face now? Is he afraid someone might remember seeing him out and about Sunday night?

I thought maybe he asked her to meet him at the airport which would mean both cars would be there. He talked her onto the plane or forced her...then took a short flight. He flies to a remote location where he kills her. (You can land a plane in almost any farm field.) When he returns, he brings his vehicle back first...then walks back to get her vehicle.

I forgot about the plane, I think on purpose. She'll probably never be found if she was dumped from the plane.

Very similar to Scott Peterson, many said he was probably a narcissist. I've done reading up on it & narcissists have no remorse or responsibility for their actions.

There were between 300-500 flights in & out of the airport on Sunday. He is an officer there and people already know what he looks like.

The disguise, imo, is just to make it "all about him". He wants to portray he is being victimized.

That could be. On Sun. Drew allegedly told Stacy's sister that he found her car at the airport. But yesterday he denied that he told the police that. Possibly an indication that at some point he changed his mind.

Maybe he left the car there, talked to her sister, then changed his mind and went back after it. The airport is supposed to be close.

It is very close. The street directly behind his house goes straight to the airport about half a block away.

I think there's always some "truth" in these 🤬🤬🤬's statements. I can't help but wonder if he didn't set her up by telling her to pack and they were going to take a short vacation somewhere (Jamaica?!), and bring your swimsuit. Oh, get some money from the vault too.

I don't know. Just thinking out loud.

Or he took all the stuff and put her with it so it will look like she died accidentally somewhere with the money and deed etc. I can't see him parting with real money though, just to set up a death scene! Ugh, what a loser.

I actually thought he may have left her car there (remember he said she told him she was headed for Jamaica?) to excuse why his car may have been in the parking lot and to point toward her leaving for Jamaica..

Possibly he may have changed his mind thinking that it might lead cops to him, because after all he is a pilot. He may have forgotten telling her sister that.

Still there is the fact that for a period of time on Sunday both of their vehicles were gone.

Who is to say that there is any money with her? Except that it is the word according to Drew. He may have thrown away her bikini, but I don't look for him to have thrown away money.

I have a question.....for all of you married folks, if you left home- how many think that hubby would notice that your bathing suit was missing?

I don't think he would part with that much money or let that deed out of his sight. I don't think they will find her with a swimming suit unless it was used for her murder.

The scenario doesn't make sense because she would not have gone on vacation with him willingly, imo, plus she would have called her sister to come get the kids.

She was in a state to divorce him and I think it was all that was on her mind at the time. I bet they fought because she let him know it was her intention to fight him for ALL of the kids (as her aunt stated) and to divorce him. He might have left first and used the money to get her to meet him at the airport to pretend he was going to be "fair" about letting her go tho.

The older child knows who left when and how. He has some answers.

I admit I don't know every detail about the case, so my thoughts are probably wrong as SS wrote. I just think somewhere in there (all his statements!) is a clue to what might have happened.

I worry that he knew very well how to cover his tracks since he's in LE. Then again, I'm seeing just how stupid he really is and I hope he messed up big time this time around!

They say the most successful liars are the ones who tell a portion of the truth. Let's just hope that he didn't cover the lying part well enough!

My husband wouldn't notice if any item of my clothing was missing (I have WAY too many clothes). He certainly wouldn't know if a bikini was missing. Then again, I'm always amazed when people say that they know what is missing in someone's closet when they're asked by the police... Maybe he might notice if one of my jackets was missing- there are fewer of them.

Does anyone know if he owns a plane?
