Blood splatter (splots), etc. has been suggested as a reason niner.

finally... caught up!!
I have a question - ?? - IF IF IF IF (Thanks Camper!! LOL!) - IF Drew strangled Stacy - WHY would the dresser need to be moved/hidden?? Anyone??

Maybe it wasn't a soft kill like strangulation. Maybe the dresser/night stand was the blunt force trauma that caused her death? Beating her head against it...Kathleen had bruises all over so she was beat and maybe this is his preferred method.

The first hit to Stacy must have been strong enough to knock her out with the kids in the house for them not to have heard any other noises. Which means that the kids didn't see Stacy for the rest of the day after that happened.

Again, if that scenario is possible, my kids always look outside to see if my vehicle is in the driveway or not when I don't respond to them. This is my MAIN REASON why I don't believe that Stacy was killed at home.

She had to have left the house in HER VEHICLE for the kids to have no suspicions. IMO

Of course the above is all based on what time, what time what time.

LD, when I was married if I finally made it out of the house without the kids and they didn't notice, my kids would go to my ex and ask where I was.
And if they went to Drew P, he wasn't likely to say he killed her.

thanks for that reply - Littledeer and concernedperson!
Yes - you're right - if maybe he "pushed" her - she might have hit her head on the nightstand - and that is when everything went silent... too bad the kids didn't ask Drew about it...  where's Mom??? or maybe they did - and just told them "something"... I hope the older boy will give a GOOD testimontial at the Grand Jury!!

And your vehicle???? Would it be in the driveway or not?? That was the point I am asking about with the kids. We are working here on theories and I honestly think that if Stacy was killed at home, and DP didn't move her vehicle until later, that the kids would have noticed that Stacy wasn't around and yes, one of them might have asked DP.

But I am also thinking at 14 and 15, that one of them might have looked to see if her vehicle was in the driveway. Again, it's the timing.

LOL, my kids- probably they wouldn't make a point of checking. If by some chance they noticed the car there, they might have asked him about it. But if he said I had been picked up, I don't think it would have disturbed them.

Still, even if they did- not knowing what was happening or even being suspicious if Drew P told them she had left, would they have told Cass? Remember Cass isn't their blood aunt, they were probably frightened, and may have been unsure what they should do.

LOL, someone stole his cones. :D good one

If I were Drew, I don't think I'd want the BPD anywhere near my house. After what his lawyer broadcast around the world about his former fellow officers, I'd be afraid of that uniform. VERY AFRAID!

LOL, and he's paying the guy to boot!:slap:

Or, is he doing this pro-bono and it's one of those deals 'you get what you pay for?':p

JMHO
fran
I am willing to bet Drew is going to pay out the 🤬🤬🤬 for Brodsky...because Brodsky knows Drew has the money so probono is a nogo. Yes, hard to believe he is paying this guy to sink him as if he needed the help! :bang:

Didn't we see a photo of the Chief at the vigil on Greta's site? HAHAHAHA! I think that should give Drew a clue that he should be VERY afraid of the BBPD! When your boss goes to a vigil in front of your house in honor of your missing wife...well...you are pretty much done so where is the fork?

LD, we have to remember we don't know exactly what the kids saw or heard on the morning of the 28th. We also don't know what they were told, or what explanations were given. All we know is according to Sharon is the kids, esp the oldest boy was upset because Drew and Stacy had a bad fight. That must have been one heck of a bad fight to upset a teenage boy IMO.

I have a hard time believing that Drew brought Stacy back into the house dead with the kids around. And he didn't have the cover of his garage as the cars wouldn't fit into it. Too many neighbors to see that.

All Cass was told was that Stacy and DP had a fight and DP was out looking for her.

Of course that is all they know when Cass showed up at the door, so that would put the timing up more closer to the later morning/early afternnon hours for anything to have happened to Stacy. So, if that is the case, the vehicle must have been moved soon after in case one of the older children looked outside and noticed that Stacy's vehicle was still in the driveway (hence, DP saying Stacy left would be a lie to them).

Drat, wish that Timeline would follow me where ever I go on here!!! LOL

Maybe when Drew left the kids at Sharon's for 15 mins he drove Stacy's car off to (the airport?) and walked back.

ETA, wait, did sharon notice the cars missing before or after that? lol. I need to reread the timeline......again.

I was thinking today about Drew P not being called in for more questioning and not being arrested. That led to the methods that LE has to put pressure on a suspect to get answers from them.

First Drew P lawyered up, so him talking is pretty much a no go.
Second, I have heard that LE will sometimes say they have evidence that they may or may not have. IE bloodstains, DNA, fingerprints etc.

However, with Drew P those things are not going to work. Drew P will still deny and deny, and ask for proof of the evidence because he is aware of what LE can do. So an interview would not be real productive with him.

Likewise arresting him for another crime, and counting on the boredom and isolation to work on Drew P wouldn't work. He would know to guard himself if he was in jail.

Instead LE is putting the pressure on another way. Little leaks to the media teasing him with what they may have as far as evidence. Little hints as to what they know. And they make sure they are available for media interviews, without really telling anything or at least no more than vague hints. So even without interviewing him, they are putting pressure on him in more subtle ways.

I don't think they will arrest Drew P until they have answered every question about how and where and all.

Thanks!! Finally, someone thinking about the vehicle!! LOL

In fact, I agree with you. It would make perfect sense and that would also ensure to DP'S mind that the older boys would not ask why Stacy's vehicle was in the driveway. But, they must have seen it when they went to Sharon's house?? Maybe, at that point, DP told them Stacy was taking a nap after their fight?? Then when the kids came back from Sharon's he was able to say, Stacy left.

I agree. DP is more slimier and smarter than any Bobby Cutts, but not smart enough. He has made mistakes and LE are aware of them and not giving it out.

Let DP sweat it out wondering exactly what they know or don't know, or what evidence they have or don't have. Eventually, there will be enough to bring him down.

Didn't Sharon keep the kids about 1:00 pm? Then she noticed about 1:30 pm that both cars were gone?

Ok, Drew P left the kids with Sharon because he had "some errands to do?" And I guess she probably thought he didn't want to leave the kids alone?
But he left the kids alone the rest of the day and evidently most of the night.
Maybe it was during that time period that he told the kids that Stacy left?
And maybe it was then that he moved the body?
Then after taking the kids home, he might have gone looking for a "friend" to help him with hiding the body. He wouldn't have used the phone to call him because he would know that LE might trace that phone call.

Moving a body during the day is very risky because of witnesses. I think I read somewhere that LE cadaver dogs did get a hit on the pond near the airport. Maybe he put her in the pond during the day and then went back that night and moved her to a more secure location?

I wasn't talking about DP moving Stacy's body, but in moving Stacy's vehicle so his "lie" that Stacy left would be validated by her vehicle not being in the driveway in case one of the children looked for it.

I don't think Stacy's body was moved until later in the evening but was in their bedroom or possibly another unused room in the house.

Is the Chief the one with the bald head?

Yes, but would he have been able to leave the home knowing that her body was still at the house with the kids? And take the chance that one of the kids might stumble across her body while he was gone?
