You are a man of few words,Wudge. The pond combined with Stacy's car.
Wudge you be willing to go into more detail or be more specific? (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)

Leila, Do we actually know that the dogs hit on Stacy's car and not Drew's Denali? Unless this came from an official source, I don't know how we could know. I'm wondering if this isn't one of those things that started as a rumor and then became fact.
In terms of the nightstand, if it was somehow involved in the crime or got damaged in the crime, Drew no doubt got rid of it. Again, do we know from an official source that it was there during the first search but missing for the second?
I recieved an email a few minutes ago and was told not to share this, however, they did say if I didn't reveal the source...
the laws in IL for divorce could take up to 2 years and Stacy has to be served papers or he needs to show due cause why he can't..so the divorce story is just a PR thing
Also the LE told the family who told the media that the dogs hit in one of the cars, the bedroom and by the pond.
oh and new update..The Doman's (Kathy's family) have filed a civil lawsuit against Drew today in Will County probate court. The suit was filed by John Q Kelly..who represented the Hollyways and the Browns against OJ..this will be hitting the streets in about an hour
Couldn't he have done it while Tom had his cellphone (no pesty pings alerting police to his whereabouts later!) at the coffee shop?I don't think anything we "know" is actually from an official source, as it's coming from the media, Sharon, and Cass. As I recall, LE only had one, very brief press conference in the beginning and none since. I've been mulling over what clues we do have, and although they're from the media, that's all we've got to go on.
I think, like Delta Dawn, that Stacy's body was transported in her car and not the Denali. But going over the time line, I'm trying to figure out how DP did it. Sharon reported that she went to the supermarket about 9:30am on October 28th, and got home about 11:00am. She said that Stacy's car wasn't in the driveway at that time. Sharon had purchased some lollipops for the children and about noon called the Peterson house to ask Stacy to bring the children over later so she could give them their treats. One of the two boys - Chris, I think, answered the phone and acted strangely - stammering, until DP took the phone and said that Stacy had gone to her grandfather's. Drew brought the children over about 1:00pm and Sharon babysat with them for about 15 minutes.
I'm trying to figure out when DP removed Stacy's body from the house? If her body was placed in her car, he would have had to put her in the car immediately after killing her, and then moved the car to Clow airport. The only other time would have been after he had Tom Morphey help him load that blue container and had taken Tom home. That would have been sometime after 10:00pm that night, and would have been under the cover of darkness.

YES! In addition (saying the same thing, but in a different way), he can be compelled to testify. Either in a deposition or in front of a jury. Egomaniacs like Mr. Peterson like to talk in front of people, especially if it's televised. The news about the civil suit is great! More and more families are turning to this in unsolved criminal cases. The standard of proof is lower in a civil suit. And the good news is that anything DrewP says can be held against him! So the civil suit is sometimes encouraged in order to try to draw more information from the defendant that he refuses to give in a police interview. And anything he says will be compared to anything that he said at the time of Kathleen's death and in more recent interviews. And it can be submitted in a criminal trial. Great news!
