So it would work easy in the timeframe. Why would Drew go to so much trouble to rig the call at Starbucks and yet answer the phone when Cassandra called at 11:30ish? I am sure that's the ping that has searchers focusing on the Lockport bridge.

I truthfully don't know what to make of Steve C. In this conversation/interview, he acknowledges people think he is an idiot etc. yet he still maintains Drew is his friend and he will stand behind him. I think Mark F. made him seriously take a look at the evidence mounting up against Drew tho.

Maybe he is working with the police like someone mentioned about Amber Frey. It would be helpful to them to have someone on the inside who converses with Drew daily and on such a friendly level.

I just listened to the conversation between Greta and Steve, and I agree with you. I feel that after listening to Mark Fuhrman, he is wavering just a bit. He doesn't seem as staunchly behind DP as he did initially. But, it's probably going to take a lot more for him to fully realize what has happened.

Right about when Cassandra saw it, but a neighbor allegedly saw one in the yard, but when, and which neighbor I don't know.

The chlorine was purchased from a pool man about 3 to 4 weeks prior to Stacy's dissappearance. The pool man went to police soon after her disappaerance turned into probable murder to say the date, amnt, time of delivery and that he questioned the amnt purchased..it didn't make sense for an above ground pool..not at pool closing or any time of the year.

Hmmm... the more I think about it, the more I think that maybe it could be from around the shut down Division street bridge. The I-53 side is a forest preserve and there is a dead end street that goes directly to the old bridge. NO ONE travels down that road. It's quite possible that he went to the Division street bridge on the I-53 side as opposed to the 9th Street bridge...

I wonder if LE has searchers in that area as well (about 1 mile south of the 9th street bridge)...

ETA: I bet the phone would ping on the same tower in that area since the two bridges are so close together...

Because he didn't realize that Cassandra would be such a powerful source in thrusting this investigation forward. He thought that he could say she ran off and assumed that Cassandra might think that was possible because of the marital problems, the counseling, Stacy wanting a divorce. He would answer Cassandra's call thinking it added to his aliabi.
He never counted on Cassandra's quick uptake on what was really happening that night. He never thought the police would persue this once they heard his side or take this any further..afterall he is an upstanding police officer..inforcer of the law.

Mom is most likely dead having gone from constant contact with LE to nothing and no legit activity on her SSN.

Tina was cremated. Stacy used to have her ashes. But Cassandra went to Drew and got them back.

I think I mention the other night my son in law is a DP.
Everything he says has a ity bity bit of truth to it. In DP eyes
this is where she wanted to be so is good possibility that she is

He said he found it odd that Cassandra reported Stacy missing at 4 am. He said "who does that" maybe when they've missed an appointment or when you get up in the morning but not 4 am. All this is paraphrased. He insinuated Cassandra may know more about where Stacy is. I'm still just shakin my head.
