Unfortunately by now DP would have destroyed any journal that Stacey might have had. I am sure for the last 9 days he has thoroughly cleaned the house.

I thought I read he hadn't been back in the house.

Police have been saying they knew where Drew was. And he hasn't been staying at the home. So why go there to interview kids? Unless he had appt to meet with them and didn't show maybe?

Which brings up more questions if DP has not been at the home. Are we to believe that LE shows up to deliver a search warrant and yet DP is not there, but we see police going in and out of the house.

Does that mean..........DP knew and he called his friend Ric to unlock the door so LE's can get into the house??

From what I understand they came and didn't go in. Left uniforms there and left. Came back with warrant and did search

Why were LE going into the house with hands on their guns? DP called and gave his neighbor the code. Obviously, he wasn't home. And, it doesn't appear they were trying to arrest him.

He, meaning Ric the next door neighbor. Which IMO meant DP knew that the police were going to be there and from what you posted, this neighbor gave code to enter the house. (I bet DP told him to do so because he believed that they would not find anything). Does anyone know the last time that DP was in the house??

I did say previoulsy that as a cop, he would know how to clean up evidence. But I am hoping he missed something!

They got the garage remote, went in through the garage. They didn't storm the house but they did go in prepared (hands on guns, flashlights out). They got what they needed, and took the remote back to the neighbor. I think Ric is calling DP whenever something is happening at the house to give him a heads-up.

I don't think they went there to talk to the kids at that point. Seems they returned with a warrant.

Irregardless of what is going on with Drew and with LE, the fact remains that Stacy is still missing. Which means that volunteers and equipment are still needed. Only 40 searchers showed up yesterday. Many more are desperately needed! The search can also use water and food for the volunteers. Boats, horses and ATV's are needed. It takes a little of your time, but it means a lot for a desperate family.

Describes the search and a brief mention of sites they want to take a closer look at, including a construction site. Disappointment in the number of volunteers who showed up. This article says 50 showed up, but the number is less than yesterday. Tim compared a recent Ohio search where he said 1,800 volunteered.

His friend got caught in a lie. Greta 1st asked Rick when was the last time you talked to Drew? He said 1 p.m. Then later Greta said we know Drew just talked with a neighbor to secure the house when police are done. Rick says that it was him he talked to. So it looks like Rick will lie to cover up for Drew. I also wonder what else he has done for Drew.

On Greta right now...
Police got garage remote from the neighbor and just entered home with a camera w/telescopic lens. Hands on guns. They are taking a large black bag, large envelope- looks thick. Took a collapsible cardboard box in.

DP called the neighbor and said when the cops leave his house to go secure it.

They mentioned DP just called a neighbor and told them when the police get out of his house to go secure it.

Greta asked the neighbor, Rick, when he last heard from DP and he said 1pm.

Greta told Rick they knew he'd just called one of the neighbors to tell them to lock up. She asked if it was Rick that DP called. He said "yes, it was me". She said "so then when is the last time you talked to him?" He said "uh,uh (stuttering) 20 minutes ago"

The neighbor, Rick seems like he's covering up. Or he's scared of DP, too.

Reiterating myster's pleas for more volunteers today in the search. If you can spare even one hour, that would be great!!

Mr. Murray will also be at the search site today according to his post on the other forum he started.
