Well ... I never thought I would say this, but HH (on HLN) DOES have at least one redeeming factor. I know she plays a role ... speaking for the defense, but she just gave a summary blurb about the closing arguments.

She said that if she were arguing for the prosecution, she would say (in closing), that in all of the 5000 questions and answers while JA was on the stand what is it "that we did not hear" .... "I'm sorry" ... no remorse. Not even "I'm so sorry I had to do this ... blah blah". That is something that should be driven home by the prosecution. She's right.

Obviously, I am not a HH fan, but I am glad that she said something that makes sense in this case (finally) ...:twocents:

And I COMPLETELY agree with her! That is the exact tack I've been hoping Juan would take because it's true. And she blames everyone for all of her actions and has never ever taken responsibility for anything. She has never once apologized to his family. She thinks showing remorse is admitting guilt. It's not. It's a normal human reaction and her inability to show any will cause the jury to have zero sympathy for her.

I was watching all the old videos of JM's cross of JA. Sorry I forgot the trial day but at one point JM is discussing the day she called DF and DF told her Travis was most likely killed Thursday or Friday. JM asks her something and to paraphrase she said she thought DF was lying or trying to trick her by misstating the day.
How telling that JA was already playing mind games with DF! I think she also admitted she thought the police interrogation was probably being recorded....
I will search for that day of testimony because IMO, JA knew she was prime suspect and was already formulating and scheming based on this...very compelling to me.

Oh that would be GREAT if you could find that and give me a link. I am just hunkering down here on this lazy Sunday a.m. and trying to figure out what testimony would be good to review. I've got all day, so I'm gonna get busy here right away.

That is interesting about the DF testimony. I don't recall, so I would love to re-visit that testimony. TIA

How many of you own a gun for protection and leave your front door unlocked?

And how many of you buy a 9mm handgun to take on an all-male camping trip? A camping trip that alarms you so much that you need to take the gun just in case you are attacked?

How many of you would just not even consider going on a camping trip that requires deadly force to protect yourself?

To add to my other post, that's why I think everyone hollering at JM to tie up loose ends and worrying should relaaaax. This is what he does. He throws things out there and brings it all home in his closing arguments. Have faith that he knows what he's doing.

I. Don't. Like. HH. anyway.

Especially someone supposedly suffering PTSD in which the trauma involved a GUN! A person suffering gun related trauma is not even going to want to even look at a gun. And The trauma was her being forced to use deadly force to defend her life and so she is going to put herself in a position where she may have to do so again???

I don't remember that. I have to go rewatch. But she's the one who made herself a suspect by leaving a message for Flores before he even stepped into the house to first review the crime scene. Her guilty conscience was as small as a pea, but it made her act like Tale Tell Heart.

And no one knows juries like JM. How funny and pathetic for Willmott to use JM's line of ' didn't you tell THIS jury....?' when she questioned Dr. Horn. The defense hasn't acknowledged this jury at all (other than to say they are liars and are watching news etc.). Now at the very end they want to do a Juan!

How long do you think it will take for him to deliver his closing argument? I haven't seen him do it before.

How many of you buy a 9mm handgun weeks after butchering the life out of an ex-bf in 'self-defense'.

PTSD? More like psychopathic behaviour!

Ya know kn just wanted her to say commit suicide. That was supossed to be the reason but she never did

Jodi's wide eyes when JM is about to bust her on the gas cans is PRICELESS

Payment will be made in Arias currency; i.e., autographed copies of her manifesto, used golf pencils, empty Starbuck's Strawberry Frappe cups, empty Cinnabon boxes, the forged recipe on pink paper, dirty Toblerones, used Pop Rocks and one well-worn Tootsie-Roll Pop stick.I expect we'll soon see Miss Bering hawking the Popsicle-stick splint that Travis made to heal JA's broken digit. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

And don't forget this little number made popular by one of Charlie's more prominent 'angels':

I have a question about the gas cans. Both in Cal. and in Utah, she made 3 separate gas purchases at the same time--one for the car, one for two of the gas cans, and one for the third can. But why not do all 3 of the cans from the same purchase? Why did she split it up like that?

Thanks in advance

When investigators searched her home (at the grandparents) they found, I believe, 2 receipts. They did not find the receipt for the 3rd gas can. They believed that she did this for an alibi to show that she wasn't in AZ. In her mind, she probably believes that investigators take everything at face value.

The other transaction was found by searching bank statements, which is why JM shows the purchase amount and the price if gas at that station for that day by looking at the other receipts.

OMG, I think my ex boyfriend gave me PTSD. Because of him I didn't want to check my voicemails or emails! Even today I have an unreasonable "fear" of checking my emails. I wasn't even physically abused, just mentally stressed out by him, so I can imagine how much worse it would be toward an item like a gun or knife that had been involved in a horrific event that you'd experienced, even if you were the perpetrator in self-defense.

I'm not labeling my relationship woes PTSD, just comparing how I feel about checking emails to an aversion Jodi should have about a gun.

I just happened to catch the new on-air promos on HLN for the upcoming verdict. The fast-talking, hyped-up, carnival barker style irked me no end. I sent them a complaint, and maybe some of you might want to do this also.

I know that this is just a business for them (& The National Enquirer makes a ton of money too), but I think HLN is too often making a mockery of this serious matter of the Justice System.

What was Jodi Ann planning to do with that gun anyway ?

In my opinion, she was going on the run. Some think she was on her way to kill more people. Her parents stated that she'd said she had to leave because she was about to be accused of something. Her father said that in police questioning.

I love it how when she doesn't want anyone to know where she's going, it's a road trip. When she wants to showcase where she's going, it's a plane ticket, like to the memorial.
