For anyone who was relying on the CNN feed for trial coverage: I sent an email last week inquiring about why the Jodi Arias trial was not being covered any longer. I received the standard immediate reply indicating that I would be contacted within 48 hours by staff. No one has ever contacted me, and CNN has not provided a live stream link to the trial this week. I guess no response was as good as a "No" answer.

You probably know why. Because HLN is under the CNN umbrella, subsidiary, thus they would be cannibalizing viewers who they would rather have watch via HLN with all the commercials

I totally agree with you Rocco. But it can be an excuse for a juror if they don't want to give the death penalty.

We know from the jury questions that at least some of these jurors decided some time ago that that she's guilty. Really, really guilty. I think it's possible one or two jurors may want to swim upstream and go for a lesser charge. If so, they are about discover just how strong the current for guilt is. Think raging whitewater. Think tsunami.

I find it very difficult to believe that those theoretical one or two jurors feel passionately that JA is innocent. They may WANT to believe so, even, but I trust that unless they walked in the court room with their minds stapled shut, they will ultimately have their minds changed by the majority of jurors who won't budge in their certainty that JA is guilty guilty guilty of 1st degree premeditated murder.

Hi all. I have a couple of comments I thought I'd throw out here before things start today. But first I would like to tell all of you how much intelligence, creativity, heart, and humor you fine people have. I truly enjoy reading comments here because I learn new things and laugh often reading your posts. Ok, so enough of that.

Yesterday was unbelievable to me for a number of reasons. But I wanted to comment on the psychological testimony of the entire trial and the juror questions.

I have really been focused on this aspect because it goes to the heart of self defense. However, imagine being a juror in this case. They have been bombarded with psychological verbiage, multiple theories, sex, stalking, domestic violence, personality disorders, PTSD, laws of attraction, experts that testify completely outside of their own field of expertise, and not one agreement as to what JA suffers from.

Throughout this trial very little time was spent on FACTS of this case. And I wonder sometimes if the jury can see the forest for the trees so to speak. But with that said I have complete faith that PREMEDITATION will be established and that Juan will make it clear. With that said, I pray the jurors look at all of the psych testimony based on what they saw with their own eyes...

Every DT psych expert had to address, as part of their testimony, issues of bias and/or ethical violations or sanctions.
Every DT pysch expert refused to acknowledge that lying would alter a test result
Every DT psych expert refused to answer questions directly asked of them
Every DT psych expert in one way or another disrupted the court proceedings
Every DT psych expert talked to only JA
Every DT psych expert failed to include, as part of their interview of JA, an evaluation to determine the presence of Malingering (outside of the testing instruments built in controls for deception)
Every DT psych expert was either giggly or openly hostile at some point in their testimony

I'm positive that you all can add more to this list. So at the end of the day if the psych testimony is too hard to make sense of for the jury, it is my fervent hope that they throw out all the bs and just base their decisions on what common sense and simple facts tell them.

Well, thanks to the defense team, the actual facts of the case were presented by the prosecution over 3 months ago. The defense hoped by dragging this out for soooooo long, the jurors would forget the facts of the case and focus on the Jodi worshipping, sideshow attractions and victim bashing. They also hoped they would lose enough jurors to cause a mistrial. Juan is going to do a great job of refreshing the jurors memories about why they are here. Justice for Travis Alexander.

I hope that juror will be reminded that in addition to stabbing him 29 times, nearly decapitating him and shooting him in the head, she falsely labeled him a partner beating pedophile in front of the whole world.

For attempting to save her own *** in the most despicable way possible, she deserves two death sentences.

And that's the bottom line, isn't it? Add in the gas cans/dyed hair/car rental/turned off cell phone, the ever-changing stories, etc etc and you end up with Premeditated First Degree Murder.

No way/no how is nearly cutting off someone's head after stabbing them repeatedly "self defense." It is murderous RAGE, fueled by jealousy. You don't want me? Fine. Then no one can have YOU. EVER.

Put her down, like a rabid dog. She is a dangerous animal.
