Now won't it be damning if the LTF witness says he/she caught Brad trying to swipe Nancy's card, but they stopped him?

Amanda Lamb does a noon report, IIRC, so that might be why the tweets have stopped.

When police told Brad Cooper they found a body he held his head and groaned, did not cry.

"The groaning seemed a little strange and forced" Said Cary police when they told Brad a body was found

I would really like more information about this. Did he go to the gym, did he inquire whether she was at the gym, was he given conflicting information, did he try to use the card, what would be the point of swiping her card if no one could place her at the gym ...?

sounds like he needs to take some acting classes

I will be most interested in the defense cross of this witness and the witness's impression. I predict that he will once again elicit from the witness statements that will make his client look very bad.

If Nancy went running with C, then was verified to be at the gym... Brad would NOT be the last person to see her.

wral Undercover officer: Brad clutched his hair & said Nancy would never run down Holly Springs Road. He asked about sidewalks. #coopertrial

My guess would be that it would be similar to those eye witnesses that claim to have seen her jogging that morning. All they would need is one person to say, "Yeah. I do remember seeing her here that morning."

That's interesting ... if Brad put her there, was he saying that she wouldn't run there to direct police into thinking she was abducted, or was he truly shocked that she was there?

Good point, but the place is covered with cameras and the computer entry systems too.

Bingo. IMO.

I think it points to a staged abduction.

I suppose there is the possibility that she really was abducted, but I am not putting much stock in that at this point. I don't think she ever went running on Saturday, or ever planned to run. I think that was conjured up as a way to explain that "She left... I don't know what happened after that. See, she called me when I was in the store, and then she left for a run...."

Killers always seem to miss a few details, no? I guess that's why perfect murders rarely happen.

But Brad also claimed she was running with CC that morning...

Abduction doesn't fit if he's put his wife in the company of her running partner!

The idea certainly would not have worked but I'm getting the impression that he didn't think these things through very well. He would have been operating on over 24 hours without sleep at that point, I would think.
