If he's guilty he would have known for a fact that she didn't run with anybody that day. It seems to me more like that initial statement was made to take the focus off of him and send the police in a different direction. To my way of thinking, saying that she went to run with Carie makes it worse for him because she would have driven her car to meet her partner and would not have run to meet her.

I believe the statement to her friends about her running with CC was so it would buy him more time. If they thought she was out with her regular running partner then (in his mind) it wouldn't look strange. Of course he likely had no idea of Nancy's plans that morning...

Remember, neither JA nor HP live in their 'hood. So they would not be aware of the car being in the driveway. And BC had no idea that JA would contact the police or come over to the house.

I really dont think he planned it. Why would he leave her where he did? He would have had to of known somebody would of found her sooner or later. This is going to be interesting to say the least. jmo

The interesting thing is we now know that not only were scratch marks seen on Brad, but he also had a bandage on a finger that the police noted. The defense willl have to address these items through cross somehow I would think. I don't think it very likely that Brad will take the stand to explain it himself. Could be wrong about that though but his track record doesn't lend itself to trending he would be willing to take the stand.

His statements to JA that he was going out to look for her were also, IMO, an attempt to buy more time. Not sure Brad did not think JA would call the police but I think it is possible he believed the old must wait 24 hours before calling, or so he hoped. It bothers me that he did not return Officer Hayes' call made at 2:36 pm. Maybe he was just busy vacuuming at that time

I found it odd he clutched his hair when he found out about her body. He has no hair. That is very bad acting.
